Waste Management

This service is the absolute worst. They will suspend your account for no reason and they will also not let you know via email or mobile that this happened. They will make up some random excuse that they left you a voicemail, and the quality of that customer interaction really sucks in the value you are paying for. For two weeks they have skipped our trash and recycling without saying anything or a reason why. Our area does not have any dumpsters or recycling facilities where we can do this ourselves if this service decides to skip us. We were in the dark about why we were being skipped over. No email, no phone calls, no text messages, no note on the trash of reasons why it wasn't picked up. I went to my account and there was no flag on the account that it was suspended, so the overall service is really bad, and I feel stuck as it's the only one that caters to my area. Must feel nice to steal people's money and not do the job that you have promised to do. Must feel nice to walk all over people and make their mental health suffer with little to no communication. There have been so many services recently that try to keep the veil on customer's knowledge just so they could get their next buck. This is one of those services I guess. They are leeches and there's nothing you can do about it unfortunately.

My recycle bin is broken. It took a month and a half to replace the bin and they never picked the old one up. When you call to complain no one calls back.

The service is provided by the city, and they are fine. They are the only choice I have and they are good, but I don't have enough comparisons to give them an outstanding or a terrible. In the modern age, there are a lot of things I like about them because they post the pickup dates on their website. They are reasonably good about making up for missed days for whatever reason like snow events and reasons like that. I know they have got a couple of different prices for us, and I think it is kind of nice too. I get a separate bill from them for the use of their services. I can't really say anything about the professionalism.

You do not have a choice Waste Management. They like to nickle and dime you to death. I will continue to use them because they are a monopoly.

Their bill comes with utility bills to the city. I do not like them. I think they are very arrogant and difficult to deal with. They are difficult to get through to. They are not customer-service oriented. I would not use them again if I had a choice.

I believe this company has been contracted with the City of Seattle to perform this service. They are a national level waste management/garbage collection firm and are pretty good about what they do. My landlord pays the bill so I can't comment on their pricing. I will use them again in the future.

The garbage collection service we get are allocated depending on where we live. The garbage collection service, which is the only one in our area, is located in Bothell and is close to my house, but their main source is in Kirkland. Over a week ago, we had a week full of snow and they could not pick up the garbage. It was really bad and they could not get their trucks around, so they just sent out notices stating that we can double up and that there would be no extra fees. The pricing for picking up the garbage depends, because they do recycling of food waste also and then the regular garbage, so they have three different bins for a weekly basis. They bill me every three months, and it depends on how much I put out there. I am satisfied with their service.
