Unique Hardwood Floors

It went well, but communication over how to allow floors to cure was unclear. Also, never told us what products to use to clean floors.

They were responsive and gave a good price. We especially appreciated their flexibility to finish the project around other remodeling projects.

Overall, installation went well.  Communication was a distraction (lack of immediate response).  North indicator on compass rose smaller than anticipated.  Otherwise, quality was exceptional; with a few hiccoughs.

Mark is amazing! I just bought a condo in downtown Seattle and there were so many hoops to jump through as far as just getting the hardwood floor installation approved . Mark was great, he helped me pick the right materials I needed for my building requirements and he did a ton of extra research to make sure that I would pass the required sound test. The end result is amazing my floors SING!!! Anyone who comes to my place for the first time always comments on how beautiful the floors are. Also the concierge that works at my front desk told me that Mark was a pleasure to work with, he said and quot;he was fast and efficient in the freight loading zone and elevatorand quot; and and quot;a pleasure to work withand quot;.
I also really liked Mark's professional style. He was always laid back but at the same time always made it clear that he worked hard and would get the job done no matter what obstacles were put in his way. For example, I had just closed on the condo when the wood floors were going in and I had no idea until two days before that there were speaker wires run under the carpet through out the main room . This could have effected the sound test results ( if you fail the test in my condo building you have to rip the floor up and start over.....Yikes!) but also...already run speaker wires , who doesn't want that? He totally rolled with it, he assured me that he would take care of it....and he did. Speaker wires in tack run under the floor, amazing wood floors and sound test passed with flying colors.... Mark is Awesome
I really like the fact that Mark is a local guy who has his own small business and whenever I called he was the one who answered. He takes all of his own calls and sets everything up himself. I liked this because I was always talking to the guy who was actually going to be the one who put the floors in ( with a small crew of course). It made me feel better always speaking to him because I knew he wasn't some random person answering the phone, he knew exactly who I was the second he saw my number on caller ID. I loved it! Great Guy, Great work. I am so happy.

Mark came highly recommended by a friend I trust and who knows the building business and has worked with Mark before.
Mark responded to my calls immediately. He was easy to work with. Asked for no money upfront!!! (Some companies asked me for 50-75% of payment upfront!) Fit me into his schedule at my convenience. I needed the job preformed on a certain week in the future. He accommodated me, no problem. We needed to move out of our home for the entire week and so we went out of town. I trusted Mark and his crew with my home and he did not disappoint us.
There were some places I neglected to clear in order to finish the flooring. (hall closet, pantry.) He did not penalize me for needing to clear the space themselves.
He warned me that NO refinishing/sanding is completely dust-free. But, Very little dust was left over.
My floors were beautiful! On time and at budget! It has been over 7 months now and we love our floors. I highly recommend Mark!

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE PRODUCT. THE SALESPERSON MET WITH US TO DETERMINE OUR NEEDS AND FOUND AN AWESOME PRODUCT FOR US THAT MATCHED OUR KITCHEN CABINETS. THE CREW CHIEF PULLED UP A PIECE OF THE FLOOR AFTER IT HAD BEEN LAID, BECAUSE HE DID NOT LIKE THE LOOK OF THE PATTERN THAT WAS CREATED.
