WE HAVE BEEN OVERALL QUITE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE QUALITY OF SEATTLE PAINTING'S WORK. THE COMPANY IS CLEARLY CAPABLE OF DOING VERY HIGH QUALITY WORK, BUT WE NOTICED THAT WHEN THE GOING GOT ROUGH ON THE PROJECT, THEY STARTED ASSIGNING THEIR LESS SKILLED TRADESMEN TO THE JOB. AS SUCH, THE QUALITY SUFFERED DRAMATICALLY. FOR EXAMPLE, *ALL* OF THE ACCENT WALLS NEEDED REWORK, BECAUSE THE EDGES WHERE THE DIFFERENT COLORS MET WERE UNEVEN AND SLOPPY. WE DID A COMPLETE WALK-THROUGH WITH RICK, OUR ASSIGNED SUPER, MANY TIMES. ON THE LATEST ROUND, WE POINTED OUT MANY FLAWS IN SPS' WORK. HE WAS QUICK TO AGREE THAT THE QUALITY WAS UNACCEPTABLE, BUT THE SUBSEQUENT ''CORRECTIONS'' MADE THE PROBLEMS WORSE IN MANY CASES. FOR EXAMPLE, THOUGH THE WALLS WERE SPRAYED, MANY OF THE ISSUES WERE CORRECTED WITH BRUSHWORK, WHICH IS TOTALLY VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE. IN ONE CASE, THE WRONG PAINT COLOR WAS USED TO CORRECT AN ACCENT WALL COLOR.

THE EXTERIOR OF OUR HOUSE NEEDED PAINTING YET WE WERE ON A TIGHT BUDGET. WE WERE ABLE TO HAVE THEM PREPARE THE HOUSE FOR PAINTING AND WERE ABLE TO DO ALL OF THE FINISH WORK FOR THIS PROJECT, THUS SAVING US MONEY IN THE LONG-RUN.
