He was very personable and agreeable, provided an organized quote which was competitive. Instead of a formal bid, he suggested an "allowance" for electrical, and reassured us of timing, price, and quality of his subs. In retrospect, many false assurances--floors needed to be entirely redone after a mistake in the initial process, and still not great finished product. Drywall was smoothed with many imperfections, which he then charged significant extra to be redone the right way. When redone, drywall was simply screwed into the previous drywall panels, leaving clear margins and a very dangerous result. New sub did better but still resulted in delays, with mediocre final result. Electrical was done well, but charged twice as much as allowance, claiming the former electrical work was to blame. Total time of project was 3-4 times as long as estimated. Ron was very responsive, but the planning, vigilance to ensure high quality product, cost estimate, and requirement for our involvement to manage each step was far below our expectations.
