Original contact for tree service, Turning Leaf Tree Service, recommended Lonnson Tree Care for the job. Contact was made and the service was provided to my specifications and done promptly and very satisfactorily. I made a commitment to have them return on a twice a year rotation for topiary tree trimming on five specimen trees.

Lonnie's service was recommended by another trusted company, Sprinks Plus (John Felber, an irrigation expert). We contacted him via email and got a prompt reply. Lonnie does a lot of his communication in the evening through email, which works great for us. Once we agreed on a day to do the estimate, Lonnie showed up on the agreed day/time and did a thorough inspection of our lot and listened to our issues. He had several ideas about the best way to work with the trees and shrubs. The bid arrived in email the next day, and it was very close to his ballpark figure he mentioned in the walk-through. Lonnie scheduled the work for two weeks out (this was at the end of the summer, his busy season), and then arrived on the day to start work. He and his team worked over one afternoon and part of the next morning, as he has estimated. Lonnie and his helper were prompt, courteous, and thorough. All of the work was described in detail before he began, and was completed exactly as he described. The trees look much better, and the grounds are completely clear of debris. The bill arrived in email the next evening, and it was for exactly the amount of the estimate, with detailed descriptions in a simple format. We had used another service (Evegreen Tree Service) last year, and that was a disaster. Lonnson did the work right the first time, for much less that Evergreen. This is the work we thought an arborist would do-he had deep knowledge of all the kinds of trees and what kinds of work each required. We will always call Lonnie from now on.
