Description of Work: Matthew arrived on time and performed the dryer vent cleaning in a thorough and timely manner. I asked if he would mind going into our crawl space to inspect our dryer vent outlet/flap that had been damaged during a previous deck remodel, which he cheerfully did. After inspection, he said that the vent outlet was damaged and that he could replace it for us. I also asked him if he could wrap our exposed water pipes while he was down there. He said he could do that as well and would call back with an estimate. He called back the next day with a reasonable estimate of $350 and came out the following week to do the work with the necessary supplies & parts. He spent a couple of hours working diligently in the crawl space on a very cold day with no complaints. When he finished, he told us that he noticed an exposed wire hanging in the area below our kitchen and advised us to get it checked by an electrician to see if it was hot, since it could be a fire hazard. My husband later went into the crawl space to inspect the work and found it satisfactory. He used an electrical charge sensor and found that the exposed wire was, indeed, hot. We purchased this house 6 years ago, and during the presale inspection, our inspector did not point this out to us.
