Deji did a fantastic job. We hired him to get our deck done before an event, and he didn't disappoint! He is detail-oriented and worked incredibly well with us. Thankful for his communication and a job well done. He even allowed us to inspect the deck for any missed spots before finishing -- that's what I call thorough. Before and after photos included -- deck looks brand new!

Deji did an incredible job. He is very punctual, communicates extremely well, is very detail oriented, wants the job to be done perfectly and it is really important to him that his customer is happy with his job. This was the second project he has done for us. We were happy with him the first time and totally happy with the job he did the second time as well.

Deji did great the deck turned out perfect. Deji was also a wealth of information on maintaining wood decks and wood homes. I have a cedar home and he was able to give me a lot of information on how to upkeep it.

Mr. Harrison did an excellent job painting the trim and front porch railings of my mom's house. The painting of the large amount of trim was one of many projects in order to sell her house.

I reviewed, called and evaluated many painters on Angie's List and Home Advisor. The top three bids were very close in price.

He was an excellent choice because he arrived early every day and is very professional. Before I accepted his bid, there were many issues on this house . He thoroughly discussed, made recommendations, and addressed these issues before I accepted his bid and during the painting.

He and his helpers thoroughly prepared the house before painting -by pressure washing, scraping and caulking as needed.

Mr. Harrison did all the painting himself and he went the extra mile. For example, his bid was for all the trim currently painted white. However, I had not noticed that the flaking outside edge of the window frames were not white but the color of the house. He agreed to paint these edges at no additional cost because of my confusion over the definition of trim.

At the end of his work, he asked me to do a complete inspection so I would be completely satisfied. I found a few minor items, and he corrected them without any problems. He completed the paint job in the promised time period.

His excellent paint job greatly increased the curb appeal and helped sell the house. I strongly recommend Harrison Ellington for your paint jobs.

Deja does great work - takes pride in his performance and works with top materials from Benjamin Moore.  If you're on a tight budget, as I was to prep this old home for selling, he will help you with suggestions and work with you to get the finish project you can be happy with.  He shows up on time, cleans area well before leaving each day and always has a positive attitude.

This is my 2nd time using him and I've already recommended him to my Realtor, neighbors and friends.

We installed a large wooden deck at the back of our house about 10 years ago, using high-grade pressure treated lumber. For the first 7 years I used oil-based stain, but was hoping to find a product, which was easier to use. I came across the marketing brochures of a well known paint company's Waterborne Deck Stain, and the pictures looked wonderful. As a result I purchased the product 3 years ago and applied it to the deck. At first it looked wonderful, but within a year the paint had started to chip and flake, particularly where there were knots in the wood. Another coat seemed to help for a short while, but at the end of two years the deck looked worse. After complaining, a company expert came to our house, advised me on applying a more opaque coat of paint (he provided the paint without cost), but indicated that his solution would probably not be a permanent fix. This spring the deck looked worse than ever--chipping and flaking randomly.

We decided to have Deji Harrison give us a quote for refinishing the deck.. We are extremely pleased with the results. Deji is exceedingly conscientious, and takes pride in his workmanship. He is a stickler for detail-- and quot;good enoughand quot; is not part of his vocabulary. He covered up all the bushes near the deck, and protected the house where it met the deck. He and his helpers also helped us to move deck furniture, and they cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and upon completion of the job.

We will certainly use his services in the future, and would recommend him without any reservation to others who want quality workmanship at a fair price.

It was wonderful - I have worked for General Contractors for 25 years and I usually get three bids for a project, but my husband had seen Mr. Harrison on a job in Bellevue, my husband works for a roofing contractor and the painting work was just finishing on a home that his firm was going to do the roofing work. My husband spoke with the Bellevue home owner and she had high reviews on Mr. Harrison.
Mr. Harrison was very helpful in describing the best products he uses from Benjamin Moore paints and did not rush me on my color decision, in fact he was very generous with his time. He did help me in my shade decisions, offering his expertise in what colors may show this tone and that and what to expect - as he could see tones that we could not easily see until he pointed them out.
After meeting with him and discussing what we wanted, we received his bid and it was in our budget and timeframe we wanted work to be done and we just felt he was going to treat us well and did not bother to get any other bids.
He showed up on time and prepped the house very thoroughly, prior to beginning the paint work by scraping and caulking, as needed. (We chose to pressure wash the house ourselves prior to his prep work.) He protected the windows from paint and tented the areas being painting so neighbors could not complain about any chance of overspray hitting their property. There was no mess left behind to complain about it.
He also offered suggestions on trim work paint that would improve the overall appearance of our home and he was right - it looks so much fresher and a bit larger than the other houses our age in the neighborhood.
When he had completed his work, he wanted us to do a thorough inspection to make sure we were completely satisfied. I pointed out a couple of minor things which he corrected on the spot with no complaint.
I highly recommend Harrison Ellington as # 1 in service and customer satisfaction and will not hesitate to tell friends and family for
their future painting needs.

The job went extremely well. They were always on time and did their job as advertised. Cleaned up well afterwards and gave advice on some other items to consider. Very professional and cordial. Excellent job. Would certainly recommend.
