Extreme Hardwood Floor had refinished our floors 7 years ago and we did not hesitate to go back to them when our floors needed it again. We scheduled the work while we were gone to minimize the disruption, and we felt confortable giving them access while we were away. They texted us with updates as they did the job. The job was done beautifully and completely.

I was referred to Igor and Extreme Hardwood by a former coworker after he had performed work on their house. Igor was very responsive to our needs and schedule. I had to postpone once because of other work on the house which was not progressing as fast as we would have liked. Igor was very accommodating to the schedule change. He had his sons helping him with the install of the new flooring while Igor took care of the feathering in between old and new flooring. All very professional during their time at our house. After he sanded the entire floor, you could not tell where old floor stopped and new flooring started.  When we return after the finish was applied we were totally amazed at how beautiful it looked.
Igor, you do incredible and beautiful work! I will recommend you to anyone that needs hardwood install, repair or refinishing. Thank you for  the beautiful new floor.

Igor responded quickly to our request for an estimate which was very detailed. After getting a couple more we selected Extreme Hardwood and scheduled a time for the work. They were on time, did a great job of screening off the other areas of the house not being worked on so they wouldn't get dirty/dusty, and did a great job of cleaning up the work areas each day. We told them what colors of stain we were thinking we wanted and after sanding the floor they created some test areas so we could see what the colors looked like and pick the one that we wanted. Their work was excellent and we couldn't be happier with the result. We'd definitely recommend them.

This is the second time we've used this company. They had some solid wood (cherry) flooring remaining from another job and they sold it to us at a very reasonable price. This company does a very good job communicating with their clients and ensuring that they clearly understand what your needs and wants are regarding your flooring installation. They address your questions and explain the process and the various options. For example, we wanted a Swedish Floor finish which means we had to move out of our home during the finish application portion of the work. We took a lovely two-day vacation during this period. They gave us a schedule for their work and stuck to it with no revisions. The finish product is beautiful, durable, and we are enjoying it. We've now used Extreme Hardwood Floor Inc. twice over a three-year period and found their pricing reasonable, their product and installation first class and top quality, and they commit to their schedule and estimate. They are an experienced contractor who stand behind their work.

They were always very responsive, on time, professional. They were respectable of our space and kept every thing cleaned up and neat. They offered advice regarding colors and vent styles and even put in matching edging on our landing at our request. They met the time expectations they had given us and were always reliable. We would work with them again any time. We love our floors!

I could not have asked for better customer service and quality of work with exceptional pricing from Igor and his wife Katrina. Even though I had to delay their start while I got the home de-cluttered for selling - they held their price for me.

The repairs to the floor area that had been cut into was excellent and you cannot tell the new from the old oak.

My hardwood area was 1,052 square feet, which is a nearly the whole bottom floor of our home. In 2012 I had gotten about 5 estimates and it was too expensive at that time. This spring we had planned for the expense and I re- contacted several of those who had bid my job in 2012. Igor was the most memorable, and he was very prompt in responding. He and his wife Katerina came out to the house again to refresh themselves with the job. I had one area of height difference from a 1996 addition to the house. Igor supplied the needed material and fixed this height difference by shimming and sanding and using the correct wood so that one would not know it was there. We were very pleased. Igor was also very courteous, professional and considerate. I would have him back in a heartbeat.

Igor was always on time, was very efficient, explained everything to my satisfaction, and I felt very comfortable about what he was doing. He always kept in touch about his schedule via texts. I was never surprised by anything. So the process was great and so was the outcome (our new finished floor).
I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone who needs work of any kind done on hardwood. He has a lot of pride in his work and rightly so.

I have not had a more professional experience with any contractor than I have with Igor. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Hard working, fast, on time, you name it and he did it well!!!

Igor and his wife, Katrina, were an absolute pleasure to work with. We requested estimates from six different companies on Angie's List for the project, and Igor was the only one who noticed and suggested staining the stair railings and oak topped half-walls between the kitchen and family room to match the new flooring that was going to be darker than the old woodwork. They were the only ones to bring pictures of their work with them, along with wood samples with various stains on them. Their cost estimate was among the least expensive of the six companies. They were extremely organized, keeping us abreast of each step of the project along the way and making sure we were happy with everything that they did. Igor brought a crew with him the day he worked on the stairs, and they did a complete rebuild of both staircases. The rest of the time Igor and his son did all of the work. Igor is professional, dependable and meticulous in his work. The finished project is stunning. We love, love, love our new floors and get compliments on them all the time. I would recommend Extreme Hardwoods without hesitation.

Excellent craftsmanship. Base moldings were flawlessly cut at transitions to follow the changes in floor elevation. I would give Extreme Hardwoods a AAA++++ rating if it were available.

When Igor and Katrina came to our home to give us a bid they asked more questions than any of the other people we were getting bids from. They paid attention to the details of what needed to be done. We decided to hire them for their attention to detail and the price. We scheduled a time and they arrived on time and were very professional in every aspect. They worked very hard while at the jobsite and didn't waste any time...so much so that they finished the job a day earlier than was expected. There was very little dust and they cleaned up after themselves. Our experience with Extreme Hardwoods was great and our floors look amazing. I highly recommend them.

I've had a wide range of different experiences (good and bad) when working with contractors, and this experience with Igor and Katerina was one of the best. Communication was great--calls and emails were always returned quickly, and Katerina provided me with regular updates on the wood delivery and work. Punctuality was perfect as they always arrived when they said they would. Their price was the best out of four different hardwood companies we solicited. The quality of their work was great. They did our downstairs two bedrooms. We had our upstairs bedrooms done by a different company; that other company was more expensive and did not do as good of a job as Igor and Katerina. They also put plastic down on our carpets to keep them clean and left our house spotless when they left. We wanted a specific, hard-to-find size of hardwood and Katerina looked all around for us and found it. Igor and Katerina were always very pleasant to work with. They are great people, with great prices and great final products. We would recommend them to our friends.

Fantastic work executed extremely professionally, at excellent price (20% under national brand flooring company). Personable, accommodating, very skilled. Can't say enough good things about our experience. I am not a regular Angie's List rater -- but this was such an outstanding experience -- these guys are GREAT.

I moved into an old house that had been severely neglected for many, many years. Igor installed an oak floor of used wood in my kitchen during the remodel process. It was harder to install than using new wood and I paid a bit more than the bid, but felt that was fair since he didn't know that he would be installing used wood. His wife, Katerina does the scheduling and came out with him to do the estimate and give me information that I would need, explaining the process and how to take care of the floor post refinish. When my house remodel was done, I scheduled the date--actually I had to reschedule a couple of time due to other delays by other contractors-- and Katerina was able to accommodate this with no problems. The fir floor in one of the bedrooms was an awful mess when I pulled up the carpet. He had to spend quite a bit of time actually scraping the glue and junk off of the floor--yuck--it took much longer than expected! My floor were a mess. There were several areas that needed repairing which now looks absolutely perfect. A large water stained area was repaired so well that I can't tell where it was. In fact, there was a board in the kitchen that looked much darker than others when it was sanded. I was fine with how it looked, but it wasn't up to Igor's standard and without my requesting, he took it out and replaced it with a board closer to the color of the other boards!!! He did a wonderful job and I love my new floors and working with both Igor and Katerina.

Working with Igor and Katerina was a blessing for someone who, has in the past, had difficulty finding quality and reliable contractors. They made this extensive process as painless as possible and followed through with not only high quality work, but a work ethic that you don't see very often anymore. They even helped me move a few of the larger pieces of furniture to the garage as I was unable to do it myself. Igor's workmanship is unparalleled - I can tell, he takes a personal pride in his work and it shows in the finished product. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out.
