Bill was referred to us by a friend who was familiar with
his work. We were moving out of state for a new job and needed to sell our
home, which was worth less than we owed. It would require a short-sale.
 
Personality & Professionalism:
Bill was very friendly, down to earth and took the time to
listen to our needs and explain the sales process. He was very responsive to
our emails and calls and was always very professional. He also didn't make us
feel like dirt bags for short selling our home, which I appreciated.
Marketing:
Bill and his team did a fantastic job of marketing our home.
He provided us advice on staging our home for best results, and helped set our
mind at ease about things we didn't fully understand. The quality of pictures,
home descriptions and overall perception of our home were extremely favorable.
I know it sounds trite to bring up the photos, but they were truly of a
professional grade, with great angles and quality, bringing out the best in our
home. Bill provided us a comprehensive list of similar homes that had sold in
our area to support the listing price. We were very comfortable with the
listing price. 
Knowledge:
The short sale process can be challenging, to say the least,
and Bill did an excellent job of explaining the process and providing us a step
by step list of what would be required from us. He set clear expectations of
the time it would take, and the challenges we would face, like the fact that
lenders are about as efficient as a Ford Pinto in a snow storm. He also helped
guide us through the contracts, what they meant, and provided us guidance
during the negotiation process. Bill had a support staff who were very
proactive in communicating the progress of the sale.
Results and Recommendation:
With Bill's marketing efforts, accurate listing price and
business acumen, our home sold just 1 week after being on the market. We had
several offers but settled on a full price offer along with a back-up offer.
 
I would recommend Bill Groen all day long for any real
estate needs. Even though we had a short sale, I truly believe Bill is
extremely capable of selling any type of property in any type of situation.
