It went very well! I would definitely use them again. They were prompt and responsive. They got the job done quickly and well done.

Scott was on time, took meticulous care of area surrounding fireplace, did an excellent job and was very professional.

It turned out to be a combination of weather and spider webs. They did a good job.

Scott inspected and cleaned the chimney and provided a written report, explaining the highlights. He's professional and personable, spent a bit of time explaining and recommending options for inserts and heat distribution. He gave specific manufacturer recommendations for inserts and a source for firewood. I appreciated the time he took, listening and not rushing through the conversation. He left the area spotless. I'd recommend him to a friend without hesitation.

Scott arrived on time to clean my chimney. It took an hour and a half to complete the job. He also checked my second fireplace but reported that it did not need to be cleaned. He checked the chimney for cracks. I was presented a bill for $163. I asked about my Angie's List discount. He said that he did not offer a discount during the busy season. I showed him the coupon I printed from the website. He informed me that this was an error on the part of Angie's List and he never authorized this discount to be shown on the site. I was very disappointed as this factored into my choosing this company to perform the job. He took the coupon I printed but still offered no discount.

We have been using Annual Chimney Services or the past eight years; Scott has repaired crowns on our chimneys, installed caps and done yearly cleaning and maintenence. I can't say enough about his professionalism, courtesy, fair price and quality of work. He is the ONLY guy our family will call for yearly winterizing of our fireplaces and chimineys. If Angie's List had an A-PLUS for service, it would be to Scott and Annual Chimney Services; thanks Scott- see you next year!!

My initial contact with Scott was positive; he was easy to talk with, professional, and up front. We scheduled a cleaning for a few weeks into the future (he was about two weeks out when I called). Scott called a few days before the scheduled work date to confirm, which is a good thing to do. On the day of the job Scott arrived on time, used appropriate methods to minimize mess and tracking, and performed the job within the time estimate. Scott left NO SIGN that he was there doing the job, he was that thorough at minimizing dust and mess! Scott performed a simple inspection of the chimney, cap, and lining, and before he left provided simple advice to keep the hearth heater burning clean and safe. The ONLY reason I judged quality as a "B" is because I do not have enough experience with this type of work to truly identify his work as excellent -- this is to say that I am complely satisfied with his work and am inclined to call on him again next time I need this work performed, as of the time of this writing.

Said I couldn't have asked for more, but I got more than I asked for. I had a problem with a woodpecker waking me by rapping inside my chimney every morning. I asked Scott to put a cap on the chimney to keep the bird out. He told me I all ready had a cap and that was what the woodpecker was pounding on. He gave me a couple of alternative solutions. One he would charge for, but he didn't think would be aesthetically pleasing. The other at no cost, but I'd have to do it myself. I went with the no cost solution and appreciated his honest assessment of the problem.

He was on time, gave good advice.

They were very good. He's very nice and I trusted him. I would use him again if needed.

Scott showed up at the scheduled time and did the job within the estimated timeframe for the estimated price. He was professional, thorough and left things clean and in good working order.

Owner was on time and professional. Explained the process and answered any of my questions. He also gave us literature regarding common fireplace hazards and fire prevention. Owner made sure not to leave dirt and used shoe coverings and drop cloths.

Scott was friendly, thourough and professional and made the whole process very simple. He called the night before to confirm our appointment, and showed up on time the next day. He not only did a complete inspection of the chimney we hired him to clean, but also checked out a second chimney (that we don't use) and the chimney for our furnace. He found a small area where the chimney flashing was lifting, and he sealed it back down. Inside, Scott inspected and swept our woodstove insert. He was very careful to keep everything clean, and even put down a towel so he didn't track rain and dirt into the house. When he was finished, he thouroughly explained everything he had found and also suggested that we could wait 2 years for our next cleaning, based on our usage and the amount of soot in the chimney. All in all, Scott did a great job and we wholeheartedly recommend him!

Scott was courteous and his professionalism was exemplary. He called to verify his appointment and showed up exactly when he said he would. He managed to work in an unobtrusive manner, even though he had to move from floor to floor, clean things that were very dirty, and climb on the roof.

Scott is professional and polite. He confirmed our appointment the day before, he showed up when he said he would, and did an excellent job of cleaning the fireplaces. He left not a speck of dirt!

Scott arrived at my home on-time and provided a repair to my chimney that two other chimney repair services said couldn't be fixed. He's a nice guy and easy to work with. When my chimney needs cleaning, I will be using Annual Chimney Services.

I was referred to Scott by another vendor who was booked way out. We scheduled an appointment a couple of weeks out. Scott called the day before to confirm his arrival time (appreciated), and arrived right on time. He was both personable and professional, providing a written summary of his inspection, explaining options and recommendations, and leaving everything just spotless. Wish I had done this a while ago. I'd hire Scott again without hesitation.

Outstanding! Scott returned my call swiftly; explained everything in detail. He was right on time; took great care to keep my place clean and minimize the machine noise; he educated me on inserts, fireplaces and liners. I'm getting a better up draft with fires since he serviced it. I will definitely call him for my next cleaning.

I used this company last year to clean my chimney and was completely satisfied! Scott was very friendly and arrived at the time he said he would. He suggested that we should install a cap on our chimney to prevent rain, pine needles, etc. From getting in. Also to cut down on the draft we experience in the winter. I finally got around to calling about the cap and again got the same excellent service. He arrived on time, installed the cap and checked the inside of the chimney. Great service!
