They did a fabulous job, not only painting, but a masterful job at prep. We had some seriously bad drywall work that had been done before and Damon's crew did such a great job that you couldn't tell that there had been any problem areas at all. The painting was excellent, the crew was on time and worked very cleanly and efficiently. Nice job!

American Home Painting is the best company I have ever done business with! It was a true pleasure working with this company. Damon is the owner and is friendly, professional, efficient and quickly responds to questions. He came out to give me a bid and got the info to me the same day. He was highly recommended on reviews so that is why I decided to choose his company for the job. His team of 2 painters, Joel and David painted the entire interior of my house in 4 days. They were very professional, courteous organized, and respectful of my home. Joel and David were polite, and very quiet while working....at times I didn’t even know they were in my house! They were always on time to start work when they said they would be, worked hard all day long and kept things neat and organized throughout the day and then did an excellent job tidying up each night. I have never had a house painted while I was living in it and really expected for it to be quite an ordeal. I was thrilled when I saw their excellent work ethic and how careful and tidy they were. I knew immediately that I was in good hands and had made the right choice in hiring American Home Painting. I consider myself to be somewhat of a perfectionist and after careful examination of each room I couldn’t find one less than perfect area in the whole house. Not one! No spills on flooring, no drips...nothing....just perfection! My house looks so amazing now. The paint they used didn’t put off any unpleasant paint odor, which I appreciated, since it is the middle of winter and the windows didn’t need to be opened. I am just in awe of how smooth things went from start to finish. If I could give 100 stars I would! We hired American Home Painting to paint our formal liing room and dining rooms, which have a wainscot detail, columns, and lots of trim. Damon was courteous and prompt, giving us a very reasonable bid for the work. He helped determine sheen choices that turned out to be spot- on. There was quite a bit of drywall repair from anchor holes, nails, etc and in addition some seam cracks/bubbling which they repaired very nicely. Repair work of the wainscot and drywall seams/bubbling was an extra charge but was extremely well done and took the end result to the next level! The painters were very polite and reliable, and left the place really clean. More importantly, they did incredibly beautiful and detailed work- and finished in less than 3 days- we are thrilled with the spectacular outcome! Would hire again!

Very professional, they did great work

I'm very pleased with all aspects of the job. The walls are heavily textured (knockdown) making it challenging (for me, the non-pro) to cover without missing spots and very difficult to cut-in where the ceiling meets the wall when different colors are used. But, the painter did an excellent job. He was also very pleasant and professional.

We had a wonderful experience with Damon and company from the initial meeting to the finished product. Everyone was very polite and the painters paid close attention to detail in their work. Damon dropped by regularly to check up on the progress of the work and provided us with updates. All of our concerns were always addressed and Damon made sure that everything was perfect. He even pointed out needed touch ups before we had to bring them to his attention. Thank you so much for doing such an amazing job!!

Perfect. Damon's people were fast, friendly, and efficient. We are thrilled with the quality results and the painstaking care they took with our house. We had multiple bids on this job and Damon's crew was both affordable and exceptional. Damon worked with us as we chose our paint colors. He and his paint rep helped answer our questions and solve our problems. Damon even texted with us late at night before the job as we resolved final issues. He was great.

The manager / owner and painter were both professional, attentive and responsive. We needed a quick turn-around and they delivered. The painter showed up on time (even on a snowy day when the power was out), and worked very efficiently. He even did some minor drywall repair. They may be a bit more expensive than some others but you get what you pay for. Based on my experience I would definitely hire them again and plan to do so.

Easy and quicker than expected.

Works was excellent. Damon and crew were professional, very friendly. Arrived on time and still finished the job under a deadline despite a day of snow. Damon even came back to repaint a ceiling section that had been DIY'd. I was impressed by his work and even picked up a few pointers. Don't scroll past these guys, they do excellent work for a very reasonable price.

AMAZING! I can't say enough about Damon and Jason and the rest of the crew. I scheduled the estimate long distance from California for Mom's 1500-sf 2-story, 3bd/2ba townhome, and Damon met me right on time when I got there. He suggested a gorgeous gray called Revere Pewter for the walls, and we used it in every room. It was the perfect color. The baseboards, mantel, doors and trim all look brand new in a beautiful white called Cloud White. It looks like the house was just built yesterday! They finished a day ahead of the estimated completion, were courteous and professional, with great communication on email and text. This was an outstanding job, and I'm so glad we chose them!

Working with Damon and his crew was great! Exactly what I expect but rarely see from a contractor. He was responsive the whole way through the process and his crew was courteous, detailed, quick. In less than 3 days our house was done and looks amazing. I couldn't be happier and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a painter.

I highly recommend American Home Painting! Damon Thompson responded quickly to my initial inquiry for an estimate. The estimate was scheduled within a few days of the inquiry and the job was scheduled a few weeks out due to my own schedule. The job was completed over 5 consecutive days. Damon, Joel, and Jason took great care in preparing the work space to make sure our floors, countertops, furniture, etc...were protected. In addition, they were were professional and punctual each day. Damon was always easy to get a hold of and responded right away to questions. All the painting was completed on-time, as planned, no hassles, excellent cleanup, and a fair price.  Jason the painter was very punctual (always on time), kept the jobsite and the supply storage area neat and clean and was quiet on the days I was home sick.  Most importantly, the wife approves of the work (her father was a painting Contractor in San Francisco so she thinks she's an expert) and likes the colors. Thank you Damon and Jason for a no hassle project that looks great.  We will use American Home Painting again.
