Jack was professional, patient, and knowledgeable. I could not be happier with how he eliminated our need for a service call.

We will definitely be calling Jack at Advanced Appliance Repair next time we have a problem with a large appliance!

He diagnosed the problem over the phone, ordered the part but stopped by (at no charge) to make sure that was the problem and came by before he left for a long weekend to get installed so we would have it. We have used Jack for at least five years at two different homes. He's a delight. Always responsive, honest and fairly priced. We feel lucky to have found him.

My stove went down during Christmas time. It was working and then all of a sudden it went cold, but it started out warm. I needed to find a neighbor home to let me use his stove. I called the repair man came out the next day and he was able to come out and fix my stove for me. He was really good and really nice.

The provider never called back

Arrived earlier than expected (phoned to let us know). I knew the basic charge before I set the appointment. He went right to the job, made the adjustment. I wrote him a check and he left.

In both instances they were able to come the same day and repaired the dryer in one visit (had the parts on hand). Both services (2 years apart), we had the same rep (Jack) and he was professional and courteous. More than anything I appreciated their willingness to come the same day. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

My regular appliance repair guy wasn't available so I took a chance and called Advanced Appliance Repair when my dishwasher broke. The repair man visited on a Saturday, ran a couple of cycles, and told me the problem was with suds fowling a sensor in the unit. He poured an anti-suds formula in the unit, told me the problem was resolved, and handed me a $130 bill for his time. I ran a load immediately after he left and realized the problem wasn't fixed at all! I asked him to come back and fix it, which he did a few days later. He fixed it, but charged me an additional $370. So at the end of the day I paid $500 to repair a $800 dishwasher.
I feel totally ripped off by the experience. This should have been fixed correctly the first time. You got me this time, but never again. I'll rely on a more credible repair service, even if it means waiting a little longer.

My Mom's refrigerator stopped working on Memorial Day weekend and Advanced Appliance was one of the few places that was open (or even answered the phone). After describing the problem, Jack told us what he thought the problem was and gave us an estimate for the part. He came out the same day and had the refrigerator up and running in about an hour. Very personable, professional and he was there when we needed him. Will definitely use his company again!!!

Greg was fantastic. He responded quickly to my panicked call right around Christmas, and not only repaired the issue but advised me on ways to keep my washer in top shape and be more efficient (like, did you know that running a washer on slower speeds can cause the gear-stuff to wear out earlier?). Have already used him again for a broken dishwasher, and had the same positive experience.

Quick response to request for service. Will use company again for future repairs.

Called late friday afternoon and left message. Call was returned early Saturday morning. Jack said he would try to work us in that day or would be able to come on Monday. Called that afternoon at 2:00 PM and said he could make it. Arrived at 3:00 and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had the part on the truck and the repair was completed in 30 minutes. Great service and we had our fridge for the rest of the weekend. Put the coolers away..

I left Jack a message Wednesday afternoon and he returned my call promptly on Thursday morning. He promised to check on whether he had the correct part and would call me back to schedule a time. He called Friday morning stating he had the part and could come by that day. He arrived at the promised time and performed the repair within an hour. Very professional and courteous - I highly recommend Jack and his work!

It went great from the fist phone call to the time he walked out the door and beyond.

I contacted Advanced Appliance Repair on advice of an area handyman that does not service the Eastside. Jack -- probably one of the last independent appliance repairman around -- was professional and helpful, fixing the problem quickly (the water intake had frozen for some reason). Rather than replace an entire part that was likely not the problem, he suggested a smaller fix and promised to not charge the service fee again if we called wiith the same problem within a month. I thought this was fair as it allowed us to not scrap the existing part yet I wouldn't have to pay another service fee if the diagnosis was wrong. He was also willing to work with my schedule and called when he promised to call. I'm noticing a possible issue now with my dishwasher and am glad I can call Jack to get it diagnosed and fixed without frustration.

Was able to respond quickly, diagnosed the issue within 2min, and had the replacement part on hand. I will definitely use him again.

Excellent! My dryer is still working fine after 1 1/2 years later and my oven is working fine again.

VERY POSITIVE. HE'S ONE OF THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO WARRANTS A SPOT ON MY REFRIGERATOR, SO I WON'T LOSE HIS NUMBER. HAVING A GOOD APPLIANCE REPAIR PERSON IS A GREAT HELP.
