LEE'S DRYWALL CO

Contractor came out and looked at the wall and was confident he would be able to fix it.  I explained due to the walls location that it needed to be "flawless" or as close as possible.  The wall had some waviness to it and they were able to hot mud that area and make it look good along with fixing a corner on the new wall, but their attempt to blend the new wall with the old was terrible.  It was only apparent once you got paint on the wall that you could see the problems.  I contacted them again for them to fix the problem as when they were onsite they told me that if it didn't look right they would come back and fix it.  This morning I was contacted by them and my GC and it looks like they want to charge my GC for doing more work on the wall so essentially that costs get's passed to me.
The contractor that came out represented that he had 30 years experience doing this and assured me that the wall would blend perfectly.  Now i'm stuck with a wall that doesn't look good and a frustrated GC as this will now be the 4th time someone has attempted to correct the wall.  
I'm very disappointed that Lee's won't stand behind their work like this especially when it is so obvious that it wasn't blended correctly.  Now the entire wall will need to be done and it will likely cost me another 1.5k.

Called on a friend's recommendation, described the work, and was given a telephone estimate of $300. After two cancellations because of December snows (I received a courteous phone notification, and the delays were no surprise), work was scheduled the next Monday. I had originally asked only for spray texture on the one wall, but when the contractor arrived (on time) I asked him to texture the entire kitchen. He completed the work, and the charge was still the estimated $300 -- that was 4 hours at $75 per hour -- plus tax. I thought it would be more because doing the entire kitchen required extensive masking. He was courteous, friendly, professional, and I am very happy with the result. The spray texture on the living room wall repair cannot be detected when compared with the surrounding old texture. An excellent job at a very fair price.
