DTM PAINTING

Dan painted the entire house by himself. I was very impressed with his work since I had a painter a number of years ago that did not clean the walls or use masking tape which resulted in walls that had visible dust which was painted over. Dan meticulously primed and masked each room including helping me pack some boxes as well as moving the furniture since my husband is seriously physically challenged and I am moderately challenged as well. He also helped me select colors which were exactly what I envisioned. Dan also patched holes from wall ornaments but identified the ones I wanted left. He also did two coats on all walls and three coats on a dark contrasting wall in the great room. He even removed all doors and painted them in the basement with his spray gun. All walls and woodwork were done by hand. There were no paint splashes and he cleaned up after he finished. Dan is a jack of all trades! He installed a refrigerator water filter, a new sink in the kitchen, measured the counters for granite so I could comparison shop, installed an outside porch light, hung the heavy wall objects, installed another smoke/carbon dioxide alarm on the inclined wall going into the basement, removed the large window from the front door and put the screen in, installed 3 ceiling fans, removed the border in the master bathroom and installed a new light fixture in the kitchen. In addition, he put in wall tile with a border which he also helped me pick out and did an outstanding job. All in all, Dan did an excellent job, took his time without jeopardizing our schedules and I considered him very trustworthy. I would not hesitate to hire him not only for painting but also other jobs I need help on. He was very understanding of our disabilities, especially my husband's. I give an A in all areas and hope this critique will create more jobs.
