I had a septic alarm go off on a Friday morning and I originally called another plumbing operation out of Bellingham to take a look at our system which is located under our home in the crawl space. Our system is designed to pump sewage up a severe hill to the street and the sewer connection above us. The first plumber I had come out was a nice young man but somewhat clueless. He did alert me to the fact that this was going to be a difficult situation to correct. By dumb luck or providence, I eventually stumbled upon Whatcom Electric and Plumbing and their plumber, Daniel Hooper. He identifed the problem and how to resolve it. Because of the steep hill we needed a very powerful pump. He spent a considerable time identifying the correct pump and got it shipped in that day and came back late in the day to do the installation. He is easy to deal with and had a bulldog's resolution towards solving our problem. I can not imagine someone doing a better job.

They are honorable and trustworthy. They were able to quickly and efficiently correct a job that I had 3 previous plumbers do incorrectly. They have even given me an estimate on an electrical job that I'm considering getting done. They don't try to oversell.

Their service is great. Their price is reasonable. The owner, Stan, is a great guy. He has made sure the jobs are done right. We had to have water heater replaced and he was $100 less than anyone else in the area. They cleaned up well and hauled away the old heaters. They were prompt reliable, courteous, professional polite.
