I was extremely impressed with every aspect of the job. The owner exceeded all of my expectations and provided outstanding customer service. The report provided was high quality - thorough and very well documented, including clear pictures of every issue that was found. I contacted Rock to Roof to inspect the installation of a metal roof (2005). Due to problems with leaks and other issues, I began to suspectt that the workmanship was sub par. Our roof is supposed to last over 40 years, and without this inspection, I believe I would be dealing with a lot of dry rot way before the warranty on the materials expired (and after the guarantee on the workmanship was no longer valid). There were several serious flaws in the workmanship and Eric (from Rock to Roof) went to extreme lengths to get a good look at the far side of the roof where the pitch is very steep. He had to view it from a height of almost 3 stories. Most of the problems were found where the roof was not visible from any vantage point (other than flying over the house). On the day of the inspection, the roof was wet and the algae made it very slippery. Being unable to scale the roof, Eric added a free inspection of my deck. He wanted to ensure that I felt that I had received 'my money's worth'.
When I buy my next home, I will use Rock to Roof inspectors. I advise that you do the same. I would be very confident that there were no unforeseen problems in the home.
