Everything was hurried up, right at the end of the day, even though they had all the paperwork early in the day - actually they had them just about closing time the previous (Friday; Long weekend because of Labor Day). If the Title Company had checked their e-mail in the morning, we could have received notification early in the day, and made proper arrangements for a more relaxed signing.

"We were responsible for the lack of prior notice to Member that we had received his loan papers on Friday. We should have called Member on Friday, immeidately upon receipt of his loan papers from Envoy Mortage, and set up an appointment for a convenient time for him to sign the loan and final closing papers during the following week. If we had done this, he would not have been inconvenienced, and the final closing process for him would have gone smoothly. This was no fault of Envoy Mortgage. I followed up with Member after the closing of his transaction to apologize and make amends. I believe we resolved this to his satisfaction."
