Refinishing your home or office is an exciting opportunity to bring old tired colors back to life, preserve and protect your decks, trim and siding, or go in a completely different direction with new color. It can change the look of the whole place. It is my goal to see a smile on your face not only when I am finished with your project, but throughout the entire process. You won't find gear and equipment laying about during the job. In fact, other that the sudden transformation, you will likely hardly notice that I am there. Attention to the details is a hallmark that I pride myself in and keeping a tidy work site is a part of that. Some folks know exactly what they want and have done the research to know what will best fit their needs and I am always ready to jump right in. Others need a little help choosing the right product or color scheme and I am happy to give some direction, if needed. The typical exterior repaint includes a pressure washing to remove any loose paint and clean any dirt and mildew that has settled on the surfaces. Window and joint seams are checked for caulking failure and then repaired. Windows, doors, decking, and vegetation are masked or covered. In most cases the large body of the house will be finished with an airless sprayer and, depending on the type of siding and texture, followed with a roller to even the coat and fill the crevasses. I commonly recommend applying two coats for best and longest lasting results. The detail trim finishes are then applied with brush and roller. The quality of finish products, be they paints or stains, are at the discretion of the home owner. We typically use Sherwin-Williams or Behr products, but can accommodate a special request. Communication with the customer. Glenn at Trimline did an absolutely amazing job on our 40-year old cedar siding that had all kinds of flaws. He was prompt, professional, courteous and finished the work faster than expected. After getting quotes from 4 other companies, it was obvious he actually wanted to do a good job rather than just win the bid. Highly recommended!

Glen did an amazing job! We really couldn’t believe how smoothly everything went. He showed up exactly at the agreed upon date and time, got to work immediately, and finished the job exactly when he said he would. We made two changes to the contract after it was originally signed and Glen easily and efficiently accommodated our changes. We used four different colors to paint the outside of our house, including gutters and garage doors and the end result was better than we could have hoped. Really beautiful finished product, and everything around the house was put back exactly where it had been, and when he was done cleaning up you never would have known he’d been there. Can’t recommend him highly enough!!

Glenn painted my two story duplex in summer of 2020. I waited to review him until now because I wanted to see how his paint job held up. It looked great when he finished and it still looks great. My building exterior was in bad shape before he started. It required throrough cleaning and scraping. Glenn cares about the quality of his work, but also the cost and overall value. He is a straight dealer, and his price was competitive. He communicated clearly with me. I would hire him again.

Overall it went well. He did really good work. But the price was very high and removed areas as part of the negotiation process. Really felt nickel and dimed when the price was so much higher than similarly rated painters. Over quoted labor by 2 full days which was the difference in price between him and competition.

When a quote is submitted, the customer will decide if he wants to hire based on the price or not. You had a lower quote, but did not accept that one. Instead you chose mine. And, it would seem by your review of the work, you were very happy with the results. It was finished in a tight window that required long days and under the time parameters that allowed you flexibility in other areas before your move in. That may not have been the case with the other quote."

Glen did an excellent job of restoring the exterior of my home to what it looked like when we first bought it. I wanted the same shades of stain and trim which he matched perfectly. Everything from hiring to power washing to staining to clean up went smoothly with great communication and beautiful results. I couldn't be more pleased. Weather is always tricky for exterior painting, but Glen is very conscientious and made the best use of every dry day to get the job finished on time. I highly recommend his work.

The job went really quickly once we got started. I was put on a waiting list since Glen was so busy, and was pleased that he fit me in before it got too late this year. We hardly knew he was here while working, he made minimal noise. After the house was pressured wash and given a few days to dry, the painting only took 2 days. Perfect color match. Looks very nice. I would not hesitate to give Trim Line Painting a call for future painting jobs.

Fantastic! Glen helped me choose the new stain color and did a fantastic job. So easy to work with. Next, he's going to fix some exterior paint peeling, then paint the interior of my house soon. You can see from the picture what a change it was (took it just before he stained the last panel).

Glen was quick to negotiate a day and time and arrived in a timely manner. We received what we paid for, which was 8 hours of painting. However the 8 hours ran out with about 15 minutes of a second coat on the last room. Which I had to finish up. If had been me, I would have stayed a little later and finished the second coat to increase the chance of being rehired. He did a very good job everywhere else and it only took me about 30 minutes to finish the last room (longer I expect than it would have taken him). I really can't complain we got exactly what we paid for and at a bargain price. We will very likely hire him again to do the ceilings.
