 + -1 moreI filed a claim in Small Claims Court in 12-09, and the case was finally heard about 5-13-10. The case was dismissed because the statute of limitations had run out a month before. She had stalled in providing the requested documentation, assumedly knowing that this would happen. I find this behavior to be reprehensible and not in keeping with the values of our community. I would never recommend her company to provide services for anyone, for anything, considering her conduct in this matter.
Description of Work: None. The company's owner, Joan Sova, owns a large lot adjacent to our small condo complex. On occasions in 2005 and 2007 trees blew down on our building, causing major damage. She was warned after the first incident to trim her trees in order to avoid recurrence. Any corrective action taken, if any, was inadequate, and the damage was greater the second time. It was requested that she show any invoices for tree trimming work, but she refused to do so. Our small association of 13 condo owners had to dip into our reserve on the two occasions to pay for the repairs.
