Rider Electrical is a small local company located in Bellingham, WA. I enjoy working with homeowners looking for an electrician who can help them with any electrical issues or remodeling projects. My specialties are old knob and tube replacement, troubleshooting dead plugs, broken switches, flickering lights, bulbs that burn out fast, lights that don't turn on, or mystery wires and switches that seem to do nothing. I do all kinds of service change-outs, full electrical remodels, new residential houses or service calls for smaller issues like a plug not working. From large projects to small fixes, Rider Electric can help you with all your electrical, and lighting needs.

Fine - came out and disconnected some wiring a couple of times so we could isolate where the problem was instead of having to dig up all the wiring. Found it on the second try and fixed it.

He came out immediately and tracked down the problem that Xfinidy put a screw threw multiple wires causing the problem and got the power back working very quickly, within 3 hours. He was very detail and explained everything as he was going.

Britt did an amazing job of rewiring out 1920s home. It had the original knob and tube still present and needed a complete rewiring. He was able to start the work quickly and worked efficiently/hard to finish within a week and a half. He was professional and easy to work with and did the work for a very reasonable cost. I am an extreme procrastinator, so it has been over three years since he did this work. This actually makes my review more valuable; I have had no electrical issues whatsoever over the last three years. I think this proves his work is high quality.

Britt was prompt in returning my call. Set a time to come out and was on time. He was friendly and listened to what I had to say. He had a efficient and logical method to his work. He offered several options to remedy my problems. Very refreshing to work with someone who has an ethical approach to his business dealings. I would give him 6 stars if there was a rating that high. Some details:
 - We agreed to do the job on a time and materials basis as the structure was complex and there were quite a few unknowns.  Britt estimated $5 - $7k.  The final bill came in at the very low end of his estimate.  For anyone who's ever done a remodel, this is nothing short of a miracle.
 - He communicated very well throughout the process and always showed up exactly when he said he would.
 - He was fast and efficient.  I was always impressed with how much he accomplished each day.
 - He is very skilled in his trade... that was obvious immediately. 
 - Passed inspection with no issues whatsoever.
 - I'd hire him again without hesitation.
