RE/MAX Whatcom County

I selected Matt from Angie's List to help me find a home in Bellingham when I was living in California. Throughout the process, he responded instantly to any call, text, or email I sent. He sent me the multiple listing info on any home that fit my criteria on a daily basis. And I appreciate that he did not try to sell me on more than I wanted; his goal was to see that I got the home I wanted, not making a better commission.
When I flew to Bellingham for a weekend, he had arranged for me to see the all the homes I wanted to view in one day. He was professional and knowledgeable about every listing. He was also very informative about downsides like traffic noise and neighborhood quality.
,He handled the inspection, and did a thorough job of advising me about all the elements of that. He also arranged for repairs and painting (I was still in California), and he managed everything so I could close escrow from California on the day I wanted to. Matt even measured the rooms for me so I could figure out where my furniture  would go! He was informative about the differences in Washington real estate law from California law, which was very helpful.
 After I bought the home and moved here, his job was done, but he continued to assist me in getting utilities turned on, and giving me referrals for things I wanted to remodel. I have been very happy with all of his referrals. and he continues to send information about the real estate economy in whatcom county, which I greatly appreciate also.
I will never use any other real estate agent, Matt is by far the best of the many I have dealt with over the years.
