Mt. Baker Roofing

It was good . I didn't encounter any problem. He came 2 days before the start date.

My issue was the old garage needed new plywood my sons did 15 sheets to tie in new shop to garage so Mt baker did the other 15 sheets on the other side of garage I was told over the phone that it would cost $450.00 over the original estimate which I was fine with then I get the bill and it was $900.00 $450.00 for 15 sheets of OSB and $450.00 Labor. When I called the office I was told the $450.00 was for OSB and Labor so I asked then how come your charging me $450 for OSB and $450 for labor she told me I was going to have to wait until someone came back off vacation, so I was called later and he said well the other $450 was for something else but could not tell me what that was I was angry so I just paid the bill. when I put in a review on their web site one of the owners replied and stated that the $30 for 15 sheets of OSB was for parts and labor. Ok then it should only be $450.00 not $900.00. He said if I want to talk some more to call the office, what for I will just get more double talk

They came out when they said they would and completed the job quickly and efficiently. Came in at bid price.

No problems. They have also installed roofs on 2 additional buildings on the property in the past. Reasonable prices and quality.

New roof looks great but some finishing work was not done. No response from business to return to complete it.

We have contacted them 3 times in the past 3 weeks - twice by phone and once in person (driving 40 miles round-trip to do so). They have not had the courtesy to either acknowledge or respond to our efforts to resolve our leak. There is no excuse for their non-professional lack of response to our problem or their lack of desire to examine the roof to identify and fix the cause of the leak.

The work was done on time and looks very good. The workers were Polite and did a professional job.

They were fast. Left our house/yard clean after every work day. The workers were all very polite and nice.

Went great. They were the middle bid. After research I found the low bid was not desirable. For the same quality I saved $2000.

We got four bids for the job. They were the most reasonable. They did a fantastic job and were on time. They did good follow up and good cleanup. We were very satisfied with them. They had great follow up. They had one person to check the roof and give us the bid. His name was Jeff and he kept an eye on everything. He made sure that the workers and the materials were available. He was here afterwards and looked it over. He went up there, made sure everything was in place, it was all clean, and all nails were picked up from the ground. They did a good job. I would highly recommend them.

The price was right, work was excellent and the installers were very professional. We would use Mt. Baker roofing again.

Excellent service from start to finish.
Brandon came up around the beginning of the year to look at the job and take measurements, and he promptly provided a quote that was exactly responsive to what we asked for.
When, at the very last minute before we were ready to sign the contract, we decided to change the scope of work (we wanted to drop the downspout replacement) he promptly provided a new quote. Even before we signed the contract, the company began making arrangements to start work. Just after we signed, even a day or two before we expected them, the crew were up on ladders taking off the old gutters.
Brandon noticed some flashing problems that became visible after the gutters were removed, and brought them to our attention. These were caused by an improper roof installation done by another roofer a couple of years ago -- but that's another story... We asked him if his crew would be open to making the necessary repairs, and he said he would consider it.
Over a month later, after we got the siding painted, the crew came back to install the new gutters. They worked cleanly and diligently, finished up and went away.
We wondered if the flashing repairs had been done. Well, yes, wherever possible, new flashing had been installed. Where that wasn't easy or possible, the area got caulked in order to prevent water leakage. No extra charge.
Conclusion: this isn't your run-of-the mill roofing company. They are professional, cheerful, customer-oriented, effective. A refreshing change. Brandon is a great guy to work with.

The roofers were excellent! They worked hard and were very cheerful and friendly. They found and fixed many problems left by the last roofer, but still stayed withing their estimate.

They were recommended to me by a builder. I liked everything about them. They were courteous, efficient, got everything done quickly and charged a very reasonable rate. They drove all the way from Bellingham and fixed it quickly. I don't think I can even get a plumber to drive out this far for what I paid.

They did a good job. They did the work quick. They were in a reasonable ballpark on cost.
