Terrible!!! All they had to do replace fixture and it was bad. It still did not work. They estimate $800. I did it myself.

David get me an estimate and it came out to be $628. He said he was going to remove all the water and install the sump pump and connect it to the gutter system that what he say he would do. So he installed it but the water is still circulating to the cross-base. The water did not drain out, he did not install it correctly and it did not pass the inspection so I gave him call back because it was not properly installed and he said that it worked but it doesn't. He did not believe me even if I sent him inspection report so far this guy is unprofessional, when I sent him the inspection report and he still emailed me and did not understand. I had to spend more money around $6000 to actually done it correctly. The system was not serviceable due to the inspection report it did not pass the inspection, so how can I pay for the service if the service was not correct and did not pass inspection and I also paid more money to have it correctly done.

"General Manager looked at your job and prepared a quote for you. When he was there on location, water on the ground around the house and water was visible in the crawlspace. Manager discussed with you and also stated in his written quote that the best solution would be to run a pipe form the NE corner of the foundation to the ditch to achieve the proper drainage away from the home. Homeowner chose to install only a sump pump in the crawlspace to fix the drainage issue prior to selling the home."

Apparently, ok. Finish caulking is horrible.

I had them install a new gas water heater recently. Sloppy job and charged more hours than it took. I complained. They took off a half hour. Not enough, but at least they gave me something. But I also told them the vent work looked like an amatuer did it, plus I said their guy sat the new tank right in the pan that still had a bit of old water in it! I then told them I'd pay the $2000 invoice, but that I'd also like Dave to come out and see what a sloppy job the guy did. He never did come to look at it, even though I then delayed paying the invoice (just to see how long it would take for him to come out to look, which he never did). Then yesterday, 2 months later, they sent me a copy of the unpaid invoice and mentioned a possible lien if I didn't pay right away. Of course, I did pay, and have given up on trying to get him to look at the sloppy work. So now I'm letting you all know about this, so they pay some small penalty for sloppy work and lousy customer relations.

This job would have been done perfectly if you only needed hot water. Cold water costs extra apparently. We had installed a water heater ourselves 10 years previous and didn't want to do it again. So we called Marv's. We were quoted $1500 to install new water heater. I thought that was a bit pricey but went ahead with the job. After installation we only had hot water coming out of both sides of the faucet. Marv's was happy to fix the problem that didn't exist before for a mere $300.00 bringing the total cost of a water heater to $1800. Heck of a deal. After a few phone calls back and forth about the issue Marv's sent us a credit note for the labor portion along with a lovely threat to send us to collections even though we were actively trying to resolve issue. IF you decide to use Marv's to install a water heater please clarify that you will be needing both hot and cold water.

Called Marv's specifically because they have portable cameras that can inspect inside your pipes to see where the problem is. Our home was built 3 years ago and we had been having problems with our kitchen sink not draining unless we ran the garbage disposal. Upon inspection, it was discovered that our pipe was full of water. All other pipes in the the house and the clean out drain outside were clear. The technician snaked the drain 3 times and finally broke whatever was blocking loose. It was due to his diligence that we finally have a free flowing sink.

I initially called Marv's for an estimate for the installation of a replacement toilet. The person I spoke to advised me that the toilet itself cost approximately $325.00 and the installation would be 1 hour labor @$120.00 per hour. She said that if the plumber ran into some difficulty the labor cost could be as high as 2 hours or $240.00. The plumber was schedule to arrive at 9:00 AM but didn't show up until 9:20. He was finished by 10:30. He said the charge was $367.90 but didn't provide us a detailed copy of the bill. I paid by credit card. He left a message later in the afternoon saying that he had forgot to include the labor in the bill. He said that he'd have the office manager call me and tell me the labor charge. The office manager called and said the labor charge was $240.00 (or two hours) and the total would be an additional $240.19 for a total of $608.09. Remember, I was quoted $325.00 for the toilet + $120.00 for labor + tax. I objected to the two hour labor charge; I told the office manager that the plumber was at our home no more than one hour and 10 minutes. The office manager said the time she quoted didn't include "driving time". I told her that to the best of my knowledge and the notes I took of our conversation there was no "driving time" mentioned. Another issue was the toilet seat. Apparently the new toilet didn't come with a seat (or the plumber forgot to mention it). We purchased a new toilet seat from Marv's for an additional $46.75. That said, the on-line reviews of the "factory" toilet seat were dismal so we would most likely have had to purchase one anyway. Here's what I learned from the process: Some plumbers charge a fee to come to the site and give you an estimate (after they've had the opportunity to physically inspect the job). Do yourself and the plumber a favor . . . that is, opt to pay the estimate fee so there are no surprises when presented with the bill. I was interested in having Marv's install another toilet in our second bathroom until this issue surfaced. Unfortunately, this issue has left a bad taste in my mouth (and most likely Marv's staff too), thus someone else will get my future business. After discussing the issue with the officer manager via email, Marv's agreed to accept a total of $556.92 for the work instead of the original $608.09.

Marv's did a great job and came right back to check on some droplets that formed over night. They fixed the problem and also fixed a toilet seal problem in the basement. Marv's did great work, good price and service that was professional and personable.

It went very well. My initial call was handled in a professional and friendly manner and I got all the information I needed. I was able to make an appointment right away. When the professional came, he knew what he was doing, did it in a professional manner, and explained what he'd done. The bill was itemized and was as I had initially been quoted. I would definitely call them again for any plumbing needs.

I worked with Dave, who was friendly, honest, and provided helpful information for our basement remodel. Dave worked with us to get to the price point we needed for our project by giving us assignments that we could complete to cut down on the cost. I never thought we could get as much completed as we did on our budget. Then, of course we had a pipe back up during our project. The team on site made cost effective recommendations on the spot and put them into action immediately. Everyone delivered as promised, showed up when they were supposed to, and left some very happy customers behind. I won't call anyone else for plumbing while I live here.

Employee was polite, professional, knowledgeable. Was here one hour, fifteen minutes. Took 1 smoke break. Dispatcher advised me of hourly rate, and call out rate in advance. Failed to mention I would be billed for driver return time. Wondering if the 15 minute smoke break cost me for another hour, and did not like the over 100 dollar fee for driver return drive. Thought my bill would be $250.00 to $300.00. Wound up being $434.00 I called Marv's because as friend said they did good work, and they were on Angie's list. Next time, I am calling a plumber that is less than a 30 minute drive away.

Well after Andrew showed up, he was quick to find a different way into the kitchen where the work was to be performed, because he did not want to track mud all over the floor! Anyway I let the man go at it and an hour and a half later, Andrew goes "All done". So he was done even before he was scheduled to show up! I asked him if there was anything I could do, he said an Angie's list review. So here I am!

Thank you Marv's Plumbing! and especially Andrew!

I had a running toilet. I called and described the issue to a couple of providers. At Marv's they told me on the phone what they thought the problem was and scheduled an appointment. They told me up front on the phone what they charge. I called another provider and they charged me a fee just to come out and look. The other guys wanted to rebuild the whole toilet and charge me extra to reinforce the floor. I sent them packing and had Marv's out later that day. They charged what they said they would charge, they didn't try to fleece me, and they took my coupon. I'm very satisfied with the work performed.

They didn't do a re-install, we ended up doing that ourselves. He came out and told us what was wrong with it. The consult was great!

They came out the same day for all of our things. He spent time and told me exactly what he was doing, which products he was using and why. I am that type of person who likes that information. I would use him again, that is who we use.
