Maplewood Animal Hospital

FANTASTIC! I have been with Maplewood Animal Hospital since it opened. Through the years I have lost pets to illness, old age and acute conditions and I would never think to go anywhere else. My dogs and I are treated like family. We've had good time and sad times and the staff takes care of me and my babies without hesitation and with great compassion. Even though it would be more convenient to use another vet since moving to Lynden, I still stay at Maplewood. These are doctors that actually listen to their patients and their mothers!

The vet was all about the animals but very involved when it came to communicating with me about any and all concerns as well as educating not lecturing. The entire office is very comfortable and welcoming!

You won't find a better vet for your pets.

He is probably the best veterinarian around. He really knows his stuff. He is just a humble, kind of quiet guy. This guy is technically excellent and clinically very good. Everybody that goes in there just loves this place. It is small. There are 3 veterinarians that work in there. The place is always busy.  I have cats.

Dr. Rabkin is a responsible and kind vet. Everyone in the office treats us nicely.

They are very good. They treat the pets and their owners very well. They are very conscientious. They don't recommend unnecessary treatments. Their charges are reasonable. They are very well qualified. The facility is very nice.

After the examination Dr. Ohm described our pet's condition, what effect it was having on our pet's health, what we could do in the short run to make our pet feel better and less likely to have one of those attacks again, and what we would be facing for longer term surgery to ensure our pet had several more years of an active life.  I was very impressed with Dr. Ohm and his willingness to understand that we are on a tight budget so we needed to be cost-effective about what we spent.  I am happy to report that two days later our dog is doing much better, and we will definitely be going back to this Vet., as well as we will take our other pets their as well.

I have been using them for 13 years, and they are wonderful. They are kind, attentive, and prompt. The vet really cares about my pets. He always sits down and plays with them when he sees them.

Overall, we are very happey with the service at Mapplewood.  We've taken our dog and cat to Dr. Monroe since they were both babies, and had nothing but excellent service and wonderful experience with their staff (Robin & Crista).  They have always been accommodating with emergencies (puppy bowels and the cats paw injury) and they have always seem to be genuinely concerned about our pets.
