"We would like to start off by saying that Mrs. [Member Name Removed] was refunded her entire amount paid because we do not believe in charging customers that are not 100% satisfied with the service performed. As Mrs. [Member Name Removed] stated she was not home at the time of service. Her assumption is that we showed up with a quote from our office prior to inspecting her furnace. That is NOT the case. We have computers and color printers on our trucks to process professional looking quotes at the time of service. A quote for replacement was created on site AFTER the furnace was inspected. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] called very angry and explained that she did not want to replace the furnace because they were selling the house and didn't want any mention of a furnace replacement on her paperwork as the new home owners would see it. We explained that it is our responsibility to give a fair and honest assessment of equipment no matter who is paying the bill. Hers is at the end of its life expectancy and a potential hazard to her family and the new home owners. We also explained it is not normal that we would do a very expensive repair to a furnace of its age. We apologized for issuing the quote and sent an additional quote for a heat exchanger replacement rather than a furnace replacement. Four Seasons Heating and Cooling is an honest and ethical contractor and we are always committed to 100% customer satisfaction. We are still interested in helping Mrs. [Member Name Removed] with her issues and hope to earn her business."
