"We were sorry to see this review posted online. The slab project CCC completed for you in the fall of 2019 was closed out without any feedback from you. You paid the bill in a timely manner; no concerns about the work were reported at that time, and you called CCC back for your next project – something we appreciated. On March 3, 2020, we prepared and submitted a proposal to you for the second project. In that proposal, a deposit was requested to secure your place on our schedule. This was the same process we went through during the first project. We did not receive a deposit from you, so we could not officially add your second project to our schedule. Then, on March 16, Gov. Jay Inslee closed residential construction projects in our state and kept them closed through the end of April. That action imploded our project schedule for 2020. We had many contracted projects on the books that needed to be rescheduled. Our focus during that time had to be on the safety and wellness of our staff, the contracted work we were responsible for and on the sustainability of our business. As you can imagine, COVID-19 closures had a significant impact on our business and our entire industry, which is why other concrete contractors were not available to do the work. Everyone has been scrambling to adjust their project schedules. Each day since March 16 has presented its own unique challenges; this pandemic has been hard for businesses and consumers alike. In the case of your second project, we know that we did not handle communications well. We were in triage mode here, we dropped the ball, and we apologize for any impact that had on you and your project."
