With a team of friendly, skilled professionals the house was transformed and looks like new again (they also did our interior, and it was transformed as well). Dinos is a perfectionist with an eye for detail, and seemed as interested in good results as we did. Couldn't be happier!

Dinos and his crew completely transformed our home. They did all of the heavy moving and worked around us, The were skilled, professional, and pleasant, In my opinion, went the contract to insure everything was perfect. Looking forward to having them back to do the exterior,

They worked for a week and they were very professional. Every day when the work was done, things were cleaned up. The crew also made sure to check with me at the end of day to review progress made and any concerns that I may had. Dinos attention to detailed was amazing. He showed me a couple trim areas that had some dry rot which were fixed. When the base of house was painted he sprayed two coats then backed rolled. One reason I liked Dinos is he took the extra steps to paint the house. His crew were also paid close attention to detail and performed quality paint job. I am very happy with Coast Mountain Painting and would hire them again. to

He quoted $1,000, which I assumed would include application of stain in the space between the boards. He sanded the deck and rolled the stain. Took one day. So the cost came to around $125 per hour including materials. This seems high to me. When I asked him to complete staining between the boards, he said he would have to charge extra for that. Would not use again.
Response from Coast Mountain Painting LLC
"[Member Name Removed], I am truly sorry you're disappointed in the results. To refresh your memory (as this work was completed over a year ago), we came and power washed your deck, then myself and a helper came and completed the machine sanding and staining. We agreed to a contract price, which did not change. As I showed you on the Sherwin Williams website, [Hyperlink Removed] the stain was applied EXACTLY as prescribed. Materials on a job beyond the actual stain include cleaning chemicals, specialty sanding pads and papers, rollers and brushes, total approximately $200. My labor for your job came to 20 hours, or $40/hr, yet my actual hourly charge rate is $45. I bid too low. In the 32 years I have painted professionally, I have come to learn there are people out there that want something for nothing, and that simply cannot be pleased. I am more than happy you will not attempt to "use" me in the future."

We could not have been happier! We already knew that we liked their work, as we had hired them not long before to stain a new fence, which turned out beautifully. The crew from Coast Mountain Painting took tremendous care on our home - hand-painting in many areas, returning on several occasions to double check their work (often in windy, rainy conditions). They went above and beyond to meet our needs - helping to remove storm windows, coming back to paint the inside trim once the storm windows were removed, and returning to help caulk trouble-spots on our aging home. Their work was meticulous and beautiful! I would also like to comment about the integrity of the owner, Dinos, and his crew. We have hired upwards of 10-15 contractors during our renovations, and I have to say that this crew stood out to me above all the rest. Over the course of this job, we never heard one profanity or abrasive comment, nor did we ever see anyone smoking. The workers were kind, polite, and incredibly respectful. Those traits are important to us, as these people become a part of our household for the time that they are working. We felt incredibly comfortable with them and are thankful for this aspect of Dinos's business. We would most definitely recommend Coast Mountain Painting and will use them again when the need arises!

I got estimates from three painting contractors. I went with Coastal Mountain Painting not only because it was the lowest bid, but because they were recommended by my realtor and I liked the boss, Dinos. They did an EXCELLENT job. Working around the blustery late summer weather, one worker came out and spent 1+ days power washing the house and deck. I would have had them power wash my fence, but I had not had a chance to ask my neighbor if that was OK. When the next window of sunny weather came, the crew of about 5 workers came out. They efficiently prepared the house for painting. Over two days the entire house was painted. They removed downspouts and painted them to blend in with the siding and then reinstalled them using screws that would not rust in the sea air. They also installed the aluminum soffit vent covers I had purchased. With permission from the propane company, they painted my propane tank (always an eyesore!) to match and blend into the siding.   I was thinking of painting my interior walls myself sometime in the future, but I am now I will seriously consider hiring this company to do the job. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Coastal Mountain Painting.

Dinos is very detail oriented, and does a good job.  Work was done as promised, and executed very well.
Settling crack in wall and issues near window were patched very well prior to painting, and ended up looking perfect after work was done.
