Classic Countertops

Jeff's professionalism and workmanship are excellent. He was careful to understand what I was requesting, which involved my repurposing an old retail cabinet into a rolling kitchen island. I did the work on the cabinet, and Classic Countertops (also known as Johnson Brothers Surfaces) created the 4' x 5' countertop to my specifications.
The laminate used resembles butcher block, so I requested a "waterfall" application on the end so that the grain and pattern would look more like real butcher block. Jeff did a great job with that, and even went above an beyond by continuing laminate a couple inches on the underside of all four sides of the top. Though no one may see this, I feel it adds to the quality and long-term durability of the countertop.
Jeff reinforced the large counter underneath with TNG oak flooring strips to add strength and rigidity, and also a very durable material to mount the top to my cabinet.
I had requested an installation that would allow me to remove the entire countertop during an upcoming renovation of my kitchen, and Jeff made that work perfectly. When I need to get this massive piece out of my kitchen for the renovation, I'll easily be able to do so, then reassemble when the new floor is installed.
