The first thing that sets Balas Homes apart from any other company I have dealt with before is the excellence in communication. Jonathan was a pleasure to work with on many levels. His response to my emails were always within 24 hours! He was also very flexible and accommodating in scheduling and the addition of other jobs I wanted to add to the project list. The words I would use to describe Balas Homes include professional, integrity and reliability. Another point that was very apparent to me during the course of work was Jonathan's attention to detail and to accept nothing less than perfection. Jonathan was always sure to check with me first if there were any details that arose to be clarified. He was honest in what could or could not be done and there were no surprises waiting for me in the finished work (or in the bill). With his years of experience, Jonathan was also able and willing to help me in making the best choices/decisions for the needed work. I have plans to hire Balas Homes again in the future for additional work. I only wish I had known this company earlier because I would have used them for my kitchen remodel! I highly recommend Jonathan and Balas Homes!!

The project went smooth as butter. Jonathan had the doorway properly framed and reinforced within a matter of 4-5 hours. Which left time for a couple other small projects I had. All in all he was able to take care of my primary project and a couple smaller projects in 1 days work. He is very efficient, knowledgeable, and comes prepared for the job and its curve balls. And, he left the area and workspace clean, as if nothing had ever happened.

We couldn't be happier. They met if not exceeded our expectations. They provided a detailed estimate and were happy to talk though exactly what was and was not included. They showed up precisely when they were scheduled and finished on time and with our rental even sent pictures immediately after the work was complete knowing that we would not be able to get onsite for a while to inspect. 

Furthermore, we were also very pleased when having to make last minute additions. I had forgotten to include some items in my rental work and Balas was quick to give a detailed estimate change order in writing, understand exactly what needed to be done, and include it in the work without hassle. In the past with companies these type of changes usually get thrown in only to be surprised at the final cost. With Balas, no surprise and the price was very reasonable even though it was last minute after the work had started. 

I cannot say enough good things about their work and professionalism. We have another list of items being done here in the immediate future and Balas will be doing all the work. We didn't contact anyone else knowing we will get great service, reliability, and price. People usually only take the time online to write bad reviews about companies so it's refreshing to do the opposite for Balas. We would and are hiring them again and recommend the same. Good, trustworthy contractors are hard to find so we would hesitate to call anyone else to do work on our places. 

One recommendation is to book early. As you can imagine a good contractor can get in high demand so if you know you have a job coming up my advice is contact them sooner than later at least to start the ball rolling and get something on the schedule.
