My 4 year old HP desktop computer would no longer boot up.  I contacted Bruce with Wizard & Co and he explained the drop off process.  Bruce no longer has a store-front but uses a southeast Bellevue site for dropoffs and pickups.  It was a little weird to just leave my computer but everything was fine. 
It took a little longer than a week to get my computer fixed, but I had indicated that I wasn't in a big rush. I don't know what a "normal" turnaround time is - I'm sure Bruce could work with the customer's requirements.  He's a pretty good business man and has been doing this for many years.
I picked up my computer on Friday and I am thrilled!  They ended up needing to install a new hard drive but it was a seamless change from my perspective - other than having my computer run great!
Only thing I would ask for improvement is communication.  I dropped off my computer and didn't hear anything from Bruce for several business days - finally called to check and see what was happening.  Bruce thought it would be done by the end of the next day but it actually took a couple of extra days.  I think if I needed it by a specific date and told Bruce about it then he would work to deliver on the specified date.  I had a fairly open window of time to get it back - but it would have been nice to hear from him rather than have to call and check.

We drop the computer off, Bruce picks it up and works on it and calls us when it is ready. He explains the problem and the work he has done, and any recommendations he might have. The response/turn-around time is impressive. He obviously knows his business, and also is skilled at telling a moderately savvy computer owner what he found or did. The price for his work and his expertise is more than reasonable. We have no hesitation whatsoever in calling him about any computer problem we have. We have recommended him more than once to our friends.

We have an elderly friend whose computer would not connect to the internet. My husband used his limited knowledge and expertise to try and find the problem. An inexplicable message appeared on the screen each time the owner tried to connect to his ISP. The ISP was contacted and had no clue, HP was called- and wouldn't deal with it at all unless a fee was paid, without any guarantee they could identify or fix the problem. The owner needs assistance in dealing with any of these sources. Finding an ad in the Angie's magazine, we took the computer to Bruce, at a local drop-off place near us. Bruce examined the computer in detail, found a number of problems, including several attempts to install a program of some sort, and not enough RAM. He cleaned up the computer, added RAM, and called to say the computer was ready. He made several phone calls to my husband with info, or questions. And he answered calls and questions from my husband. He gave an estimate after looking at the computer - and that was his final price. My husband picked up the computer and returned it to the owner and helped set up another ISP and email account. We and the owner are highly satisfied!
