WINDEMERE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT EASTSIDE

You'd think a big name like Windemere would get you a more professional and punctual landlord. We have had problems with big ticket items in our rental - the oven didn't work, the furnace fan was broken. It took an illegally long time to get these items fixed (over a week - state law says you must begin repairs in 72 hours). I had to write a legal letter to get repairs looked at. In the past I've had landlords that responded to phone calls. I have found our contact agent to be unprofessional - she has pulled "he said/she said" summaries of our discussions and forwarded the snide comments she made about us to the repair company directly to me. (I'm assuming she forgot her comments were included on the bottom of the email...) We are transfers and are renting while the real estate market cools. She treats us like we are Section 8 renters, in a house for the first time. On the upside, the company is doing a fairly good job of keeping the owners uninvolved in managing this property and also did a good credit and background check. However, they obviously did nothing to get the house ready for renters - no painting or even a check to make sure all the major appliances (oven, furnace, roof) were in working order.
