T-Mobile USA Inc

I was a loyal customer of T-Mobile's for over 5 years. I moved from Illinois to Iowa in October of 2008. T-Mobile was made aware of this move and continued to provide me with service. Six months later, in April of 2009, I was informed by T-Mobile that I was living in a 'roaming' area, but not to worry because I would never be charged extra fees and my service would continue. Therefore, in April of 2009, I renewed my contract with T-Mobile for another 2 years. The last week in May of this year, I received a letter from T-Mobile stating that my service with them was to be terminated on June 21st, 2010 because I was living in a 'roaming' area and it was actually costing them money to keep me as a customer because they had to pay another provider for the of their towers to provide my service. However, the provider they had to pay is actually an affiliate of T-Mobile. I don't understand why my service has to be terminated. Even though T-Mobile willingly waived the $250.00 early termination fee, they were unwilling to help me with the new expenses I am going to inccur due to having to switch service providers. I have to get a new phone, pay an activation fee and pay the first month in advance. This is how most cell phone companies do things. On top of all that, T-Mobile won't even let me stay connected for 2 more days just to finish out my billing cycle. I'm a homeowner on disability. Unexpected expenses like these just aren't in the budget! I have tried to reason with T-Mobile and have gotten NOWHERE. They have not been compassionate, or understanding at all, and refuse to bend or help in any way. I guess I know how much my 5 years of loyalty really means to them. I DO NOT recommend using this company as your phone service provider.
