Sunset Glass Co Inc

Our contractor submitted specified finish sizes. One mirror was 10 inches (!!!) off, and rendered the mirror unusable. The contractor still had the note with the sizes, but the clerk wrote them down incorrectly. The owner, Lisa Cowden (sp?) was rude, defensive, and less than helpful. She told me that all cutting was at the customer's risk and that it was our contractor's fault for not verifying the sizes before leaving the store. It would have cost her next to nothing to provide a new mirror. Instead, she told me to shut up and let her talk. She went on to say that they took NO responsibility since she didn't charge for the labour. That's all fine and good, but the mirror is now unusable because it is 10 inches off and far too small. I now have to purchase a new one. In the past I also had a new screen made because we had a burglary. The screen was less than perfect, but I let it go. Perhaps this company needs to hire more diligent employees, or at the very least accept some degree of accountability for their errors and refrain from being rude to customers. My advice is to stay away from this firm.

Process was smooth and organized. You call to have the estimator come to house. He checks it over, provides you with style options and sends you a price a few days later. When you accept price, Lisa orders the glass. When it arrives she gets you scheduled. This all takes a couple weeks. Both estimator and installer were prompt, efficient and professional. Sliding doors look and work great!

I should have questioned the cost of the glass. My error. We used to go to Seattle or Issaquah for glass because Sunset is more expensive for an equal product. It is worth the effort to go somewhere else.

Punctual and responsive. On the second window, however there were visible glass shards inside after the work was done and we have small children.

In both these cases, I took the measurements to them and picked up the result for installation myself.

They came out to inspect a potential window problem. Problem didn't exist, so no work was performed. They were friendly and professional and I would definitely call them to get a bid.

My experience with them was good. The estimator was very good and I wasn’t home when the installer came in. The overall project went very easy and very efficient.

We got them off of Angie’s List and we will use them again.

Great job everything was cleaned up and taken away. While doing yard maintanance a rock hit door and it was shatttered. They came out and measured, sent us a estimate when the glass was received at the store we made an appointment for installation. Everthing went smooth

They had excellent workmen who were very careful and did a great job. I couldn't be happier. They were the highest bidder. The job was done in a timely manner. They were very friendly.

He had me measure another screen and used that to duplicate. They made it and it was the same price they had quoted me. They were very helpful. It's nice to know what to do and where to go.

THE SALES STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND TOOK ALL THE TIME I NEEDED TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS. SAMPLES WERE AVAILABLE TO SEE. THE MAN WHO INSTALLED THE DOORS WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. A PROBLEM WITH THE DOORS WAS RESOLVED BY THE COMPANY AND WAS FIXED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

I HAVE HAD SUNSET GLASS CUT SEVERAL PIECES OF GLASS FOR ME OVER THE YEARS TO PROTECT THE TOPS OF DESKS AND SIDE TABLES. ONE ANTIQUE SIDE TABLE WAS A VERY IRREGULAR SHAPE AND THEY MATCHED IT PERFECTLY.

THEY UNLOADED A LARGE BATHROOM MIRROR OUT OF OUR TRUCK AND CUT IT DOWN TO THE RIGHT SIZE. THEY CUT IT ON THE SPOT AND THEN RELOADED INTO THE TRUCK. THEY WERE FAST AND DID A GREAT JOB.

GREAT SERVICE. VERY HELPFUL IN SUGGESTING HOW TO INSTALL. WE WERE WORRIED, SINCE THE WINDOW WAS OLD, THEY MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET SAME GLASS, BUT NO PROBLEM
