Jessica (the project manager) did a great job communicating expectations, was timely, pleasant and professional.
There was some overspray where the painters failed to mask but Jessica handled the cleanup personally and professionally.
I would recommend this service and it's a fair value.
"Thank you [member name removed] for using Student Edge Painting, and for taking the time to post your wonderful review. We take pride in hiring the best of the best, and we provide our student managers with outstanding training opportunities. Kyle has been a phenomenal manager for us and we're so pleased to have him back for another year. We're thrilled that you're happy with the work that his crew provided and that everything met your expectations. We'd be happy to help you complete any other paint projects that you might have! Thank you!"
These guys were great, I dealt with Jamie the owner of the business and we walked through the project. He spent time with his crew to go over the details twice. This was the last step on a large rennovation project so the stakes were high and Jamie and his team came through. When our home was done, it looked like a new construction model home. The lines were great as we did different colored walls and ceilings.
I'm planning on using them again for the exterior of my house later in the summer.
The branch manager was wonderful. She worked long hours and tried very hard to please. I feel that the group as a whole needs more experience. Because of rain, the job took much longer than planned. During the times it could be painted, the main painters worked on another house, leaving only one person to finish mine. I'm a bit concerned that they continued to paint in the rain, although not during a downpour.
The prep work was great in some areas and poor in others. i.e. My garage doors had to be redone after they were painted. One of the reasons I painted in the first place was because the doors were peeling. The young man sprayed the doors, peeling and all. Clean up is very important to me and I was disappointed. I had paint on things that weren't meant to be painted, flowers were broken, paint chips left behind... I feel laborers in general need to be more respectful of others property.
My deck needed to be restained. I was told that a solid stain would look better because it was an older deck with varying degrees of fading and a semi-transparent stain would show the flaws too much. I made it clear I DID NOT want it to look painted. I wish I had seen a photo so I could have made an educated decision. I would have chosed the semi-tranparent hands down. My deck looks like it was painted with brown paint.
