Description of Work: They remodeled our 1961 bathroom which required complete demolition of the floor, walls, and even the exterior wall around the shower. When they did the tear out, the mold and dry rot was horrible. They took care of it at a very reasonable price and even stayed on schedule. They also rewired all of the electrical in the bathroom, replaced our entire electrical panel and the electricity from the pole to the house. They installed a couple of new outlets to accommodate higher wattage needs, installed an attic fan and replaced exterior light fixtures. One extra exterior light was added. A new fixture in the bedroom was placed as well as new bathroom fans in both bathrooms. This required creating proper vents to the roof and included roofing work around them. All the plumbing was redone in the bathroom. The shower was made larger and a bench and beautiful custom door and custom bathroom mirror were added. They tore out part of an adjacent closet and re drywalled and painted that. Custom Acorn brand cabinets were installed after drywalling was done at site of old cabinets and shower. All new fixtures and lighting were installed. We also got marmoleum type flooring and new custom wood trim. Lastly, we had soffit vents placed on the whole perimeter of the house for better ventilation. | Steve Kunkel and his crew (including Wade and Avram) were incredible. Steve spent tons of time planning the job including driving me to all if the suppliers to pick out everything. The planning was meticulous and he provided a schedule which was adhered to almost exactly. When unexpected things came up, his team of staff and expert contractors handled it professionally and efficiently. Environmentally friendly products and materials were used throughout. | Steve anticipated every possible detail of what the job would entail. His bid was accurate and many other estimates did not include things that would have ended up being added later. You definitely get what you pay for and Steve Kunkel Master Builders company is well worth the money for the highest quality of products and services you get when he does your job. Steve personally came to oversee the job and meet with us a couple of times a week during the job. Communication was excellent. I highly recommomend this company.

Description of Work: We hired Steve Kunkel Master Builders to add storage to our garage, build an under-the-stairwell closet, and add an outside storage pad and overhang addition to our house so that we could store our garbage cans out of the rain. In addition, outdoor lighting was installed to provide motion detection light systems, and they also installed a better weatherproofing system in our basement doorways to reduce the draftiness in our basement.

Description of Work: We needed more storage space in our house, and wanted to park both cars in the garage. Mr. Kunkel and his company designed and built extra storage spaces in our garage, an under stairs closet (with lighting), installed exterior motion detecting lighting systems, a second garage door opener, and an exterior storage area for our garbage cans.
