Seattle Lighting

I had a kitchen remodel and purchased all the lighting materials and LED bulbs from Seattle Lighting. After mishandling my order twice from the get go I finally got the correct can lights with LED bulbs. An electrician installed the items well but I had to go back to the company again ( 3rd time) because they gave me the short neck instead of the long neck lights. Finally the project was finished and I enjoyed he new kitchen for a few months until one of the bulbs began to strobe. I called the electrician who looked at new lights and said it was the malfunction of the bulb. I had the original box and returned it to the company who gave me a new light and stated those bulbs were all defective and the no longer use that company. When I was given the new bulb I asked " is this the exact wattage and lumens of the other one?" I was assured it was the same. It is not! Now I have 4 bulbs of one brightness and one of another. The kitchen was not cheap to remodel! The people who work for this company don't know their products. Now I have to go back downtown to get a bulb with the same lumens as the other 4 and I was told those other 4 will most likely fail too!

While I like the variety of fixtures and ideas that are shown in their various staging areas, I often feel like I'm an invisible shopper there. I realize you have to go to the counter in the back of the store to request someone's help as far as questions go regarding various fixtures, but I would appreciate it if they had employees that were located in other areas of the store to answer questions or offer suggestions in those areas directly as you shop. I also get the feeling that they'd rather help people who are doing complete remodels of their house and buying a lot of merchandise than someone who is buying an individual fixture or two.

STAFF KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND FRIENDLY. SOMETIMES THERE IS A WAIT FOR A STAFF MEMBER TO BE AVAILABLE. EXCELLENT SELECTION OF LIGHT FIXTURES. WAS SURPRISED THEY DIDN'T HAVE A PARTICULAR TYPE OF BULB.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND DID A GOOD JOB SHOWING AND COMPARING FIXTURES. THEY HAD A LARGE VARIETY AND HAD THE BEST PRICE FOR THE SAME ITEMS THAT WE HAD SEEN SOMEWHERE ELSE.
