Something jammed the the garage door to the shed at our church so it would not open. I had a great experience years ago with Rainier Garage Door when they serviced the garage door at my house, and they did a quality job again. Robert arrived in the specified time window and even called ahead to give a more precise arrival time. He quickly assessed the problem, got the door moving again by aligning the guide wire, but then went the extra mile to make sure it ran smoothly. He noticed there was a gap on one side when it was closed, so he adjusted the door to close more evenly. He lubricated all the rollers and spring to ensure it would move more easily, and now the door stays all the way up. He noticed the guide rail was crooked on one side and straightened it so now the rollers are not strained or pulling out. He installed extra screws on the bars holding the rollers to the door since from experience he knows they have a tendency to pull out. He also added extra screws so the weather stripping was tight on the bottom of the door. He noted that the spring was old and could break soon, but no pressure to replace it, so I left it for now. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend Rainier, and will keep using them in the future.

The tech arrived early, and after spending 10 minutes confirming that the door segments would (and could) be replaced, instructed us that part of the service call fee would be taken into consideration for the larger job - I was very uncomfortable paying anyone $140 for 10 mins of work, but the tech’s assurance helped me justify the cost. I’ve since contacted the company twice to ask for an estimate of the work so we could get it scheduled, and after being told the last time that “we’re still processing your paperwork” have never heard back from them.

Very quick and clean installation of LiftMaster 8550w. Installer was smart, personable and professional and spent time to thoughtfully answer several questions about the garage door. He replaced the mounting bracket with a shorter one after noticing the old opener was installed too low. Inspected and lubricated the door. (The stated cost is what they quoted before Angie's discount and taxes.)

My son had Rainier Garage Door do a good job for him 8 years ago, and I saw that they had good reviews on Angie's List. I needed springs replaced (two of them started stretching out of shape) on my two 18 yr old garage doors. I called on Saturday morning Jan. 20th and they gave me a price quote to replace the springs and said Tony would be there between 10am and noon. He arrived one hour after I called, surveyed the doors and explained everything thoroughly to me (I'm an engineer and like to know what's going on). Tony was very professional, confirmed pricing before doing the work and did a great job! He replaced the springs and rollers, got the light to work on the one door and got the door to seat better on the garage floor. Both doors work so much more smoothly and more quietly. Under $600 seemed very reasonable and the job was done way more quickly than I expected! I highly recommend Rainier Garage Door for your garage door needs.

The technician replaced a worn out/stripped plastic gear in the door raising mechanism and also replaced a metal slat on the actual door. The slat had cracked so the door was not completely level when raised and lowered. This was done quickly and efficiently and was reasonably priced. This is the second time I've used Rainier and I'd definitely recommend them.

I called then at 11a after my wife informed me the door was stuck open expecting to set up a appointment over the next few days. They told me they could have someone there in 90 min! I headed home, the technician called about 30min ahead of time and said he was on his way and he was exactly on time. I asked "Robert", the tech, to look at all 3 of the doors as I had never had them serviced in the 5+ years I had owned the house. 2 of the doors were used at least twice daily for cars and the 3rd was rarely used (where we store our "stuff"). He determined that the wheels on both doors were worn, he adjusted the chain on all 3 openers and he tightened the ceiling mount bracing which was loose on all 3. In 2.5 hours he was done and every door hummed silently and smoothly. I was super happy with their promptness, the value I got, $620 to replace 2 sets of wheels, adjust 3 chains and mounting brackets and lubricate all 3 doors. The doors glide up and down in near silence. Robert was super knowledgeable, happy to explain everything. It's always a pleasure to work with someone who knows their stuff and loves their job.

Very wel! We were having issues with our garage door and were worried the whole door would need to be replaced. The Rainier team quickly assessed the issue and were able to correct it with a replacement of the spring, rollers and re-adjustment of the opener. Very fast, very solid work and I really appreciated their honest assessment of things. Highly recommend them.

When I called this company they were able to send someone out as early as the next day. That didn't work for my schedule, but I was impressed nonetheless. On my appointment day Tony kept in contact and arrived exactly when I expected him. He diagnosed the problem almost immediately (the springs weren't supporting the door properly so the motor was having to work too hard) and provided my options with cost estimates, and he didn't pressure me or try to upsell me. The work was completed within an hour, and I'm very pleased.

It turns out that the sensors needed calibration. He got that working perfectly, then oiled everything and inspected it for any other issues. He was great. We would definitely hire again.
