 + -1 moreMy new sewing machine kept breaking the thread with the bobbin. I took it into the Kirkland store for repairs. After testing my machine, they told my the heavy duty thread was too thick for the standard needle I was using. I bought different needles, and the problem was solved. They also told me about free classes they offer.
Description of Work: At no cost, they examined my sewing machine and used it to sew some test strips. They sold me the appropriate needles, and told me about free classes they offer.

 + -1 moreMy 1980s Singer sewing machine had been acting up for some time, so I went to this store to see if it could be fixed. The associate there went through all of the adjustable pieces, looking things over, cleaning, and explaining why I might be having trouble. After her fixes, the machine was improved, but it still was giving me a hard time. I decided to buy a new sewing machine, and went to the same store. Again, I got superb help. The saleslady demonstrated how to use the features on various models and explained the differences without pressuring me to buy a higher-priced model than I needed. I bought a Brother Project Runway Special Edition and began using it immediately. In the middle of my project, I had some questions about how to use the machine. I was able to go to the store, and they demonstrated how to use various stitches and gave me tips that made my project so much easier to finish. Overall, I am very pleased with my new sewing machine and the service I have received. Definitely recommend this store as the ladies there are very knowledgable.
