Oxi Fresh of Bellevue Carpet Cleaning

I had a coupon for and quot;Whole House Carpet Cleaningand quot; for $168 which and quot;includes 6 rooms.and quot; I called for a quote and spoke with a polite man about our house. In addition to 6 rooms, we had a hallway, closet and staircase that we wanted cleaned. The final quote came to $246. (On the day the cleaners came they showed me a bill that said $256, but I mentioned the first quote and she immediately changed the bill, no questions asked.)
The cleaners arrived promptly at the scheduled time in a small car. Their equipment consists of 2 hand-held sprayer canisters and a small scrubber machine about the size of a wide vacuum. The cleaners, Jeanie and Kevin, were very friendly and professional. They got right to work. They did their job well and I am very happy with their service. Any parts of the carpet that I wanted cleaned that were under or near furniture I had to move the furniture off myself. They helped me move a couple of things, but anything else I had to move.
However, I'm very disappointed in the quality of the cleaning. Our house is only a year old so and the carpets didn't have any major
stains, but all the rooms had high traffic spots that were matted down and grungy looking. The cleaners basically sprayed the cleaner on the carpets and then ran the scrubber brush over it. Nothing was sucked up. Nothing was removed. So the stuff they sprayed on is still there. It looked nice when they were done, but it dried crunchy. I was happy that it only took a couple of hours to dry though. Unfortunately, the high traffic areas only got partially fluffed up and they are already matted back down after one evening of using the carpets. It seems a can of carpet cleaner, a carpet and quot;rakeand quot; and a good vacuum could do as good a job, maybe better.

It was pretty good. We are not really sure about the technology. It was a chemical but they don't use the big vacuum things. It was a floor buffer. I had no idea that was what they used when I set it up and I don't think it was the best application for us; it wasn't the best way for us to go. We had just moved into a new house and we think the previous owner had dogs that peed all over the carpet. It was soaked in so I don't think it was the best application. I didn't investigate for pricing. The guy clearly knew what he was doing and it would have probably worked in a different situation. I suppose that I might use them in the future.

After a review of carpet cleaning companies on Angie's List, I decided to call 360 Carpet Cleaning. From the initial call through the actual service, the whole process was seamless. The person I spoke to, (I forgot to write her name) let me know that their "5 Step Cleaning Process will get maximum soil and spot removal without over-wetting the carpet or leaving harmful chemicals behind". She was correct! The carpets were clean and soft, not "crunchy" like after other carpet cleaning companies who use chemicals. In addition, in the time since they were cleaned, I have had to clean a few stains as a result of my two dogs. The stains seem to "lift" more easily due to no chemical residue. 360 is also a "Green Company" so that was another reason why I chose them to do the work. The technician, Shaun, was on-time, professional and extremely thorough. All spots were removed and the carpets throughout the house looked like they were brand-new! I highly recommend 360 carpet cleaning! I will be calling them in the future when the need arises.

I had a coupon for 3 rooms cleaned and coated with a protective spray for $50. I called for an estimate for the rest of my house and was quoted $157 more. I agreed. The day of the service they were an hour late. They called my cell phone to tell me, but I didn't get the message. I ended up calling to find out and they connected my with the people coming to my house. They were polite and professional, but I wished they had called my home number. The two people were polite and did the job well. The house smelled clean and the carpets dried in an afternoon.

I decided to give Oxi Fresh a try after hearing their radio ads and purchasing a groupon coupon. When the tech arrived, I was a little skeptical if they could do the job because their carpet cleaning machine is so small. I am use to seeing the large machine in the truck, then having them run hoses through the house. Oxi Fresh uses a very small portable machine. I was pleasantly surprised at how well my carpets turned out. I had a lot of problem areas like dirty high traffic areas, new puppy pee stains, soda spills, and a recent dog barf. Oxi Fresh got everything out but the barf...the barf is a particularly tough stain (the dog ate some black algae and barfed it up). They were able to fade the stain significantly and I expect with more cleanings it will fade even more. I hesitated to write this report right away because I was fearful the tough stains would reappear, but I am pleased to report that two weeks later my high traffic areas still look fresh and clean. I will definitely use Oxi Fresh again. Their price was right, their tech was polite and helpful, and most important, they did a great job cleaning a very dirty carpet.

Using a Groupon, 2 rooms of 300 sqft ea were cleaned for $59 + a $20 tip. Without the Groupon, the cost would have been only $78 + tip. Other services I contacted started at $200. The man cleaning was very polite, very concientious, cleaned carefully, took a couple of hours for a small (<600 sq ft area). The carpet looked so much cleaner than before. He applied extra chemicals to terrible cat urine stains and promised to return to apply again if stains did not go away. He also applied a protectorant. The price was awesome, the service was excellent. The results were spectacular.
