Vic (the owner) called and had a team out that day and they did a fantastic job, considering the tree enveloped an antenna that was placed on it long ago, they had to be careful when cutting. Will definitely hire them again and refer them as well.

Tricky business this tree stuff! Norwest Tree Experts are truly experts. They fell a dangerous 100' cottonwood on our property in Gold Bar, four others wouldn't even bid the job. Vic took time to plan it, everything went exactly as planned. Professional, friendly, and skilled! Cleanup was great! We would defiantly recommend them! Thank you Vic and Michael!

They did a great job! Very good at what they do. My only issue was with spotty communication. I realize plans change or things come up but would have been nice to be updated when having to change times etc. But all and all they did what they said they would do, did it well and honored their bid. I'd definately recommend them to friends and would certainly use them again!

Identified the species of each tree on assessment visit. Thoroughly examined and took pictures of each. Then emailed me complete estimates of 3 options. I selected the least costly, which included trimming of the least supported branches and recommendations for any future needs. The team arrived promptly as scheduled. They efficiently trimmed the trees and completely cleaned up all debris. My trees look great, and are no longer dropping large branches with high winds.

I like the reasonable price. They seemed to be confused about when they will come out; it could be me but I just called them to asked when we were schedule because I thought it was yesterday. They didn't know when to call the guy who did the estimate so it was odd that they don't have a record in the office. I was calling on a Thursday and he did the estimate on the Monday. They seem to be a little disorganized.

Perhaps I shouldn't have graded him down in responsiveness since he had a motor cycle accident and wasn't working for awhile. After he was back, it was a bit hard to get this work scheduled Once here, however, he did a good job in quick time. The very tall hedge was trimmed and it looked great.

The crew did an exceptional job. They worked constantly from the time they arrived until they left nearly after dark. They worked until the job was done. They also made sure things were tidy before they left. They were friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. The price was the best quote out of five that we requested.

Owner Vic Dell was very responsive and was able to meet with me the same day that I called on July 5th. I appreciate he made an effort to meet with me on his way for his weekend vacation.
During our first meeting, I was very impressed with Vic Dell as he was friendly and very knowledgeable in the area. So we scheduled for appointment to perform the work on July 9th at 8:30am. Unfortunately Vic and his crew did not show up until 9:30am!! I was told there was an accident with the clipper. Vic had texted me that he would be late but I was not told how much later. Since I was not living at our property, it would be nice if they could let me know the estimated time of arrival so I did not have to wait inside my car parking on the street for one hour during the summer sunny day. Despite of the delay, Vic and his crew (Andy and Mo) did a good job for us. They were professional and efficient. Completed the job in a few hours and cleaned up the site. I was very happy to see Andy had trimmed and shaped our Japanese Maple Tree. The yard looks much nicer after they had performed the work. In general, I think they did a good job. Thank you.

They were able to climb another tree to secure the falling broken tree and swing it over so it did not go through the fence. They did not need to remove or cut up the tree. They were able to leave it in the ravine that it came from. Norwest Tree Experts responded fast and had the tree taken care of the same afternoon. The price was a bit high but certainly less the the cost of replacing the fence.

Norwest Tree Experts came out, gave me an estimate, explained to me what was happening with the tree and how they will take care of it. We sent an appointment and they took care of it.

I hired them in order to take advantage of the $99 Big Deal offer. They turned up early, which was okay. The crew was topnotch--very competent, thorough, and inclined to be helpful. However the foreman seemed to feel under a lot of pressure to get the job done as quickly as possible and I was uncomfortable with his attitude. He said something about barely breaking even on the job. The estimator told me they would save the wood chips for me, but the foreman said that in order to dump the wood chips where I wanted them, he would have to disconnect the chipper from the truck which would take too long, so I conceded that it was okay not to save them. I also wanted to save some of the branches for use in a wood stove, and the crew was trying to help me, but the foreman told them that they did not have time for me to save those branches. He wanted to clean up as quickly as possible (and they did a good job of cleaning up). So it was a mixed experience.

We had several hemlock trees that needed to be removed from our property for a patio remodel. I received four estimates for the service. Norwest won the job because their price was reasonable and the owner was willing to assist in securing permits for the tree removal. In addition, the owner is also a certified arborist and he was able to verify (with the city permit dept) that a particular tree was a hazard and required immediate removal. The crew was professional and efficient. The job took two days and the wood was promptly removed from the property. I will use this company again.

I contacted Vic who was very responsive, provided his insurance and bond info along with the cost estimate, and was on time. His crew was excellent. I was very pleased with every step.

we had a long ugly laurel bush and two equally ugly tree/shrub that was way too much for the usual home owner.

They did a beautiful job cleaning up. If I have any questions, they come right down. I am very, very happy with them.

Large cherry tree in the alley by the neighbors. The tree has been trimmed and has grow to be very big. There is an owner to the house that has the cherry tree but he only rents it out. I contacted the owner to get rid of the cherry trees and so I said that I would be happy to "buy" the trees and get rid of the trees. We went through a bank to get the tree under my possession.

Norwest eventually came and they were excellent at their job. They did the service extremely fast and the people helping on the ground were also pleasant. I had discussed with these guys about talk down a few other trees in the area. I was very happy about getting rid of these trees.

They have a list of things they had finished on the charge sheet. They did a good job with finishing the job but there was a large amount of wood left after this service. I have requested several times for a call back to set up a time to get the an appointment for the work finished.

I have called several different number including an emergency number. I did get a message back from the owner? Vick but after that no more communication. Norwest hired an outside company to finish off the clean up for this job but it had really frightened the couple that was in the rental home at the time. The guys finished up the clean up seemed very unprofessional in their clean up which made me worry. After they left there was still a lot of big logs left.

As of today, there are still 4 HUGE blocks of wood left in the yard. I called them again today to take care of this and tried to get this work to be finished. Vick kept telling me that he would send someone out but for some reason would not do this unless I gave him the renters names and numbers. Vick and I disagreed on several things (being that I wanted him to call me first before he had people come out) and eventually during one of our 3 calls he hung up on me.

The bid for the job was competitive, with straightforward answers to all questions.
Once the job was scheduled, the team showed up on time, got right to work, and finished
ahead of schedule. Everyone was professional, courteous, and concerned that I was satisfied
with the work.

One man climbed the tree and started removing limbs, while 2 other men worked on trimming the long driveway. They had a chipper set up, and cut up the larger limbs as they were removed. A crane was brought in to remove the larger sections of the tree, which was cut into smaller sections as soon as it hit the ground -- there was no wasted time.

Once the work was complete, another truck showed up to haul the wood away (at no additional charge). The whole job was well orchestrated, and it was clear that everyone knew their part, and performed as a team. Great work by the "climber", dismantling the tree with ease.

I would definitely call Vic at Norwest again for any tree work -- it is refreshing to have a no-nonsense experience, with people who know what they're doing.
