We were very pleased with them. They did a professional job, they did exactly what they said, and they're price was reasonable. The workers were polite, pleasant, explained what they are doing well.

I feel I am rather knowledgeable about cars (I change my own oil and
filters on my sports car, replaced exhaust myself, and done other work
when I have time), I can detect the BS meter, and it did not go off with
these guys.

Eastside Automotive was over in Juanita but since have moved to just-up from downtown Kirkland. My wife has been going to them since before we were together and swears by them, now I do to.
This particular indecent I went in one morning when the weather was bad. They did my oil change and when I was checking out the power had gone out. They have seen me in a few times, so the recognition probably helped, but they literally said and quot;Don't worry about paying, we'll just see you next time.and quot;
I cannot vouge for every single instance, but, each time I've seen a female in the Eastside Autmotive shop I intentionally listen (I do it in any auto place) to see if my BS meter goes off about what they're saying. I've never heard so many honest assessments of car situations given to female customers, in plain English (even if it's not understood), from one auto place. It's no-wonder my wife has always loved them. She's pretty oblivious when it comes to auto stuff.
Another plus I like about them is that they're not afraid to give you a non-mechanic type recommendation: like if something is and quot;borderlineand quot; but fine for now, they'll say that. They'll say things like it could be and quot;fine for a whileand quot;, or and quot;not recommended to leave as-isand quot; and even have told me and quot;it's not really an important thing to fix if you don't want toand quot;.

They did not pressure us to have all the work done. They did exactly what I asked and provided labor and parts estimates before hand. Seems very straight forward and honest. For the car needing an alignment, they test drove it, checked the tires, before doing the alignment. They definitely listened to us and paid attention. Same-day service was relatively prompt. Labor was probably average to high, and parts were average to high, although they use parts they trust which may cost more but are worth it.

I ALWAYS TAKE MY HONDA PILOT TO EASTSIDE AUTOMOTIVE AND TIRE BECAUSE THEY ARE AN HONEST BUSINESS. WHEN I TAKE MY CAR TO ONE OF THOSE 10 MINUTE STREET CORNER BUSINESSES, THEY ALWAYS TRY TO RECOMMEND SERVICES THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED OR EVEN NEEDED IN ORDER TO MAKE MORE MONEY ON A 'DUMB LADY.' HOWEVER, I CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON THOR AT EASTSIDE AUTO and TIRE TO TELL ME THE TRUTH. HE NEVER TRIES TO SELL ME SOMETHING I DON'T NEED, AND THEY ARE ALWAYS FAST AND FRIENDLY. I TRUST THEM WITH MY VEHICLE.
