"John, We followed every step of the contract. You were not at the initial estimate appointment it was done with your wife, She asked us to replace certain siding and I did include that in the proposal. I asked if she wanted us to replace anything further than those and she said No. Before signing the proposal I was asked to adjust the contract several times to insure everything you guys wanted was included as she did miss a few things during the initial estimate. Then before signing as you know I came out to meet you in person and your wife go over EVERYTHING that was included in the contract and we did and then you signed. When we started the repairs our crew was asked to replace more siding, more corner trim and full chimney and a few facias that was not discussed or included. After your raised these concerns I did go out to your home again and we discussed I explained what was included in many of our emails and texts and every time we spoke about something You asked me to revise the contract and I did. After you said Ok let me know amount of ours and it material it would take to get the extra repairs done and I did give you all the information before we started it and you approved it. at the end you refused to pay for any of the extra carpentry. We are very detailed in the proposals and make sure everything discussed is included in the contract so there's no surprises. Regarding me not stopping by the job, I actually stopped by 4 times to your home from the initial estimate to during the job and to our meeting. I didn't stop by at the final day but there was no issues with the quality but only the carpentry payment you refused to pay."
