On the plus side, we had a tight schedule to move in - about an 8 week timeline for them, over the new year/holidays, and the great bulk of the work was done on time. We had no trouble moving in when we needed to, the things not yet complete were all livable. They do quality, high-end homes and they're certainly capable of good things.
However, in our experience, it often took 2 or 3 tries to get things right, and that drove up costs quite a bit. Generally, their painters were excellent, their in-house workers were great, flooring was fine, millwork was good. Some subs were not good - framing had to be re-done, electricians screwed up several times in costly ways, their drywall guys had to re-do several patches, cabinets were slow.
There were a number of management mis-steps. eg, barn doors with a known 12 week lead time weren't even ordered until after almost everything was done; and then they had forgotten to add proper blocking to support them when they had opened up the relevant wall earlier. The kitchen hood install had numerous issues from initially overlooking a city code requirement, and then mounting it higher than we specified. They were noticeably less responsive after the bulk of the work was done (and monthly invoices for them paid up).
Overall, there were only a few things that weren't feasibly fixable, so for the most part we're happy with the final results. It ended up being some 10% over estimate, and dragged on about 6 months (though 3 months of that was waiting for material orders).
