In her first visit, Francesca went through our house with us and told us what to keep in the house and what we should take away. As she went, she told us where to position the remaining furniture, pictures, decorative pieces and how to set the kitchen table. She opened my cabinets looking for pieces to use for staging. So, most of the staging was done with our one things. She also told me what color bedding to buy for the master, what color towels and how many for each bathroom, pillows for the couch and plants.
Then, after we did the work to pack stuff up and get it out of the house (big job after 27 years!), Francesca came back and placed our furniture and everything "just so".
