Internet Service
Ok, First, this company charges $100 start-up fee, and the monthly
charge is $50. This is the best service price we could find for our area
which offered a month-to-month service with no cancellation penalties.
The service is not very good. It runs on a cellphone signal, so it's not
equipped to handle anything more than cellphone usage. I am disappointed
with the quality of the service, but for the price and the ability to
cancel the service at anytime without penalty, I was ok with that. As more and more technology runs on the cloud, the quality may improve, but for now, what a let down...
Here's my biggest gripe with this company. I have it for 4 months. 3 out of 4 months, The have prematurely suspended my service and required payment either 2 or 3 days prior to the new billing cycle. Essentially, I've lost 2-3 days each month for which I paid for. I attempted to resolve with the company, but the representatives simply read a generic response over and over. It's like they don't even listen to what you are saying at all. Imagine you ask for a bottle of water and someone gives you a cookie. Then you correct them, and explain that you had asked for a bottle of water, and then they just tell you the cookie is good. It's a complete disconnect.
I was never able to resolve my issue, but I will certainly not continue to pay for a full month's service and get only partial, so I'm cancelling my service at the end of this month. Beware! It's nothing short of THEFT as far as I am concerned.
