Cindy helped me stage the house to maximize the appeal. She publicized and advertised the listing in many ways, including having it's own website and having a call-in number where people could listen to recorded information. She did a beautiful job on the brochure, and kept the brochure holder on the sign constantly full. Every time there was a showing, she followed up, and if the buyer was at all interested, she continued following up.
The house sold in about six weeks, even though our first buyers backed out for no reason, and we had to start over again. Even after it sold, I watched listings in the neighborhood. No other house similar to ours sold for the next six months. Phew! We were really blessed to have Cindy working for us!
Then Cindy turned around and helped us land our perfect little cottage in our first-choice neighborhood (Loyal Heights), in a perfect location within that neighborhood. The real estate market in Ballard was still very competitive in spite of the downturn, and houses like we wanted were not sitting on the shelf. But we got it, and she even managed to negotiate some closing costs and repairs for us.
If you're thinking about having Cindy help you buy or sell, just go for it!
