Excellent. Workers were very professional and friendly. They arrived on time each day, cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day, and did a first class job. They even brought their own sani-can! Contract was negotiated with Bob Johnson and supervised by Leonardo with a crew of 3 + himself. I'd hire again and highly recommend.

Our previous roof was only 12 years old and required full replacement, including the OSB panels (the wood part). Bob responded to questions in a timely manner and the crew was great. The price was in the middle of the bids we received. Workmanship seems really good, they even repaired things that I didn't know needed to be repaired (some siding where the carport meets the house). This roof will last a good, long time. And, the collapsed eaves are as good as new. I also appreciated that they: Worked really clean. Worked in sections they could complete in the time they had between rain storms.

After having our home inspected before we listed, we found out some really bad news about our roof. It needed to be completely replaced. With a short window for getting it done, we interviewed 3 different companies. Many more would not even take our call. Blue Star was willing, and creative enough, to work with our schedule. They were great to work with and did a fantastic job. They really stepped up when a few problems were uncovered, after they started the project. Bob and the crew went above and beyond to make sure the high quality roof was completed for our first open house. The crew, managed by Leonardo, were professional, courteous, fast, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend Blue Star to anyone interested in replacing or repairing their roof.

Cleaning took most of a full day. Person working had actually worked on installing the roof in 2006. He was careful and cleaned up nicely around the house after washing off the pine needles and moss that had come down from the roof. I was pleased with the job. Price from Blue Star was $800 and two other estimates I had received were each $1,000. I chose Blue Star not only because of somewhat better price but I had contracted with them before and was pleased with the job.

I was impressed. They did a good job. There was a small problem with one of the sky lights, and they came out to fix it with no questions asked.

I have used them before and they were very good. They did an excellent job. My neighbors also used them and were equally happy. I am planning to use them again.

The overall experience was excellent. Came on time and were done in 4 days! Four installers came each day. The installers were friendly, efficient, knowledgable at their craft and very hard workers. Bob came everyday to check on the progress and also pitched in when necessary to get the job done. Also, cleanup each day was excellent. Highly recommend them for your new roof or roof repair. Always on time and fair pricing.

Bob first came to our home to give an estimate of labor and materials to fix the roof on our fixer-upper manufactured home. Previous owners had badly neglected the roof and we feared it was beyond salvaging. Other companies simply didn't show, didn't want the job after one look, or their quote was simply beyond expensive. Bob offered us pragmatic assessment and advice (example: the application of product called Ice and Water Shield). Of the other contractors, his plan and quote sounded reasonable. Bob's estimate of the number of sheets needed was almost spot-on, but the unforeseen damage to joists and beams caused multiple challenges to the crew as the project progressed. It naturally added a bit to our costs and a few extra days - no surprise there, but what WAS a surprise was the attention and care with which Bob's crew addressed each new problem as they arose. The added costs of extra lumber and labor were not shocking either. Bob's crew was extremely courteous and hardworking. Bob turned up regularly to supervise, communicate details with us, and help the crew decide how to best handle the newest snarl. We felt totally confident in their hands and have been completely happy with our roof since. They added 7 vents (where none existed before), repaired beams and joists, and replaced our skylight. They dealt with pitch issues to create a proper slope - even flushed the gutters. They were very conscientious about leaving the job-site swept clean before leaving, and they were punctual upon returning the next day. They definitely went the extra mile! If an A++ were available as a rating, I would offer them this. Suffice to say that Blue Star Roofing saved our roof, and ultimately our home.
