Black Forest Landscape is a full service landscape company that works with you to get the end result your looking for! We listen to what you have to say, and when applicable, brainstorm ideas until we come up with a solution that works for you and your landscape. We pride ourselves on our friendly staff, customer service, communication and the ability to take your ideas and turn them into something beautiful and functional. Our installers have over 35 yrs experience with beautiful portfolios of previous installations, prepare to be impressed! We are certified installers of concrete pavers, permeable pavers, retaining walls, water features, landscaping and have an extensive knowledge of drainage and drainage systems. Brick and Stone Patios, Walks, and Steps Installation
Brian did a great job. He was the only one that knew of problems with the tree roots that had uprooted the flagstone. He picked all of the flagstone up, cut back the proper amount of roots reinstalled, including all of the plants between the stones.

We hired Brian for landscaping, redesign and clean up in front and back of our house. We also needed to rebuild and redesign some steps. I knew from the first time we spoke how professional and knowledgeable he was not to mentioned passionate about work he does. All this was evident in the final work. I canâ t recommend Brian highly enough and would definitely be hiring him again. Hard working and dedicated to his job not only being done right but with attention to detail to every part of the project. His design ideas were great. The reconstruction of the steps was amazing and he gave our house both front and back a total facelift Great personality, funny and kind. Thank you Brian for all your hard work.

We hired Brian to install pavers and drainage. Brian suggested a sump pump. I paid him over 14k and the job is not complete after several months. He also does not return phone calls or texts. The work that he did complete looks good-

Brian did an amazing job on our backyard. He rebuilt an existing water feature in our yard, installed a new patio and retaining wall, and planted some beautiful plants throughout our yard. Brian is a super nice guy who is extremely knowledgeable about plants. You can tell heâ s passionate about what he does, heâ s an artist when it comes to designing beautiful landscaping. Canâ t recommend Brian enough!!

So thankful to have found Brian, owner of Black Forest Landscaping. Brian made arrangements right away to come and provide me a quote on cleaning up my yard, which I accepted, and he began work within a couple days. Brian's knowledge of the wide variety of ornamental shrubs and trees that in my landscaping was amazing! He took great care in trimming everything, cleaning up all the beds, hauling debris away and offering suggestions for the future. Brian also dug out problem roots that made our pavers uneven and then brought in sand and gravel to reset them and beautify the area. It looks absolutely amazing. I will definitely be using Brian in the fall for clean up and again in spring. The yard looks stunningly beautiful. I would definitely recommend Brian to anyone who is looking to have superior work done on their landscape as he definitely is a professional.

Although I was initially happy with the French drain - after a year it failed and I had puddles in my yard. I called Brian and he came out. He said the reason was that the bark was moving into the drain on a high slope area. He said he would send me an estimate to install some boards to block this from happening. I never heard from him. I texted him a couple of weeks later to ask about the estimate and he did not reply. I am embarrassed that I referred my boss to him before this because apparently, he flakes out. Because of the slope and design, I will always have trouble with debris in the French drain.

Brain and Roberto were very easy to work with. Our project was quite large and involved coordinating with a neighbor on some details. When issues came up Brain worked closely with us to come up with satisfactory solutions to us and the neighbor. I was amazed how quickly the project was done. Roberto who did most of the hard labor was fantastic. He is like a machine. What I like most is Brian before they started had a vision of what the end result would be and was able to clearly explain it to my wife and I. This was not the experience that we had with other contractors. I would highly recommend Black Forest Landscape for any project. I'm sure we will work with them again.

My waterfall had to be rebuilt due to leaking (tree roots invading). Brian and crew did the most beautiful job; it is truly a work of art and so well done. The waterfall itself looks like it came right out of nature; it doesn't look man-made in the slightest. I plan to hire them for my outdoor lighting, as well! Well done!

I recently had my deck rebuilt and underneath was a fairly large (~400-500 sq ft) and unattractive area. I wanted it to look finished and not be an eyesore. What I got was a well designed, very professional looking landscaped area - much nicer than I had envisioned. It is the perfect mixture of rock, mulch, plants and stepping stones. Brian listened to me, looked at the area and came up with the design. The work was done quickly once they got on site, everything was cleaned up and I even got some plant suggestions for another area. I have a go to plumber, painter, hardwood floor re-finisher, etc. Now I have a go to landscaper. Next time I need some work done I won't get bids, I won't call anyone else - I'll call Black Forest and know I'll get excellent customer service, design and results.

Brain as great! He was always professional and very accommodating. He listened to our goals and worked to meet what we wanted, but also was very polite when making professional recommendations on how to improve our initial vision - which we appreciated! He worked with our schedule in terms of meeting on the weekends and later in the day. the only reason I gave 4.5 stars instead of 5 was there were a few times in the beginning when we didn't hear back from Brian promptly and we were sure of the status of planning. We are VERY happy with our results!

Brian was able to come out quickly to get a good look at the yard and get an idea of what we wanted to do with our yard. We ended up doing a retaining wall and putting in plants/trees. Brian has a great eye for what will work and look good. The job was done quickly and looks great. The only thing is that the cost of labor has gone up in Seattle so it was more expensive than I expected, but that's with any job I guess. Brian was able to work with our budget to get what we needed. I would recommend him and his crew.

Brian was very professional and informative, and accomodated my schedule well. He and his crew did a pretty good job. Unfortunately, there are a couple areas that are not really getting that good of coverage, and the Rain Bird wireless controller is 100% useless. Overall, good.
