Furniture - Sales
End-to-end, the experience was poor. We made the mistake of buying a beautiful leather sofa and loveseat from a salesman who was less than interested in our money, for one thing. He sold us a 5-year warranty that added several hundred dollars to the price tag, and then told us the warranty covered any scratches to the leather. A year into the warranty the seats were totally discolored from normal use, and our cat had scratched one of the sides, so we called the warranty company (StainSafe). Not only did the salesman mislead us as to what was covered, but we have been waiting over a year for the warranty people to show up and fix the damage that WAS covered. Buyer beware, the leather dye is volatile, as is the staff, and the company they hire to maintain their product. Repeated calls and visits to both the furniture store and Stainsafe have proven fruitless. We've been ignored.
