concrete repair
 + -1 moreBAC had done a sidewalk and step for us a few years ago, and some work for our neighbors. The initial communication was good. Chris had good input about how to accomplish what we wanted. The job started on time and was worked on daily until completion. The work was done well, but had a few small things to fix, like re-cut grooves that got filled in a bit. The main problem we had was lack of communication during the actual work. Chris did not seem to pass along what we discussed with him to his crew. We had some issues trying to get the shape we wanted for the walk and patio. They redid the forms a couple of times before we got the right shape, which was frustrating, but the changes were made when we asked and fixed as soon as we showed what we wanted. Overall, we're happy with the process, but glad we were around to check things frequently.
Description of Work: Removed existing driveway, patio and sidewalks. Installed new slightly wider driveway with drain trench tied into existing drains, stair landing, ramped sidewalk and larger, reshaped patio. All work has a broom finish with feature strip of aggregate acid wash on the patio. This involved two pours. The price includes disposal of about half the old concrete; we asked to keep the rest to use for another project.
